3D printing custom trays seemed like a good idea, but honestly, who has that kind of time? Thankfully, while browsing online, I stumbled upon a solution that changed the game – toolbox organizer tray dividers!
These little lifesavers were exactly what my drawers needed. They come in different sizes, so I could create customized compartments for all my office essentials. Now, everything has a designated spot.
Here’s the thing, though: while these organizers are pretty awesome, there are a couple of things they could improve on.
First, the “anti-slip” feet aren’t exactly grippy champions. The trays can still slide around a bit in the drawer.
Second, the little interlocking bits that connect the trays work okay, but the dividers can still shift slightly inside the drawer.
Considering the price and how easy they are to customize, these are definitely winners in my book. Plus, you can always add more dividers later if your needs change. I loved them so much, I’m already thinking of grabbing another set for the rest of my house!

The quality of the box is fine, except for the locking system, which is ineffective. “Locked” boxes come apart very easily under the slightest pressure. The other issue, for me, is the size of the boxes. They are meant to fit into drawers of various sizes. But if the sizes are not a multiple of 3″, you end up with a lot of wasted space. Boxes of 4.5″x6″ or 4.5″x9 would help mitigate that. Also, the height of the boxes at 2.75″ can be a problem with some drawers. Offering an additional height, e.g., 1.25″ would be very helpful. Finally, instead of offering a set number of boxes – i.e., 24 of this, 12 of that, and 6 of the other – why not let the customers make up their own set, by selling each size separately. They know what’s best for them.

There are a lot of organizers in this pack and they work well together. I only wish each of them was a little bigger. The biggest one really isn’t big enough to hold a tool and the medium one is worse. The small one is good for loose small items though and I like it. Maybe if they had 2-3 larger size included that was the size of 2x large ones combined, that would be handy.
