Quality of Product: The amazon fire stick is very handy if you have an older tv without smart capabilities or even one that is starting to fail. The fire stick is very easy to connect and has a very snappy operating system. it connects easily to my wifi that is on the other side of the house and through several walls.
Would I recommend this product: Yes.
Personal Thoughts: I have been using these for a couple years now and it amazes me how well they work. I have a couple smaller 32″ tvs that we picked up for our kids rooms that do not work as well as this product. They are also super simple to set up. Please note that this is the Lite model. The remote cannot be used to control volume and other TV settings. I would recommend buying the full version as it is worth it to have only one remote.

Listen, everything about the firestick is amazing. The size is great, the picture quality to amazing the remote control, battery life and the ease and connectivity if all amazing. You can do and watch so much with this device. Run and get it I highly recommend.

I have a television that is close to being around when the dinosaurs walked the earth. There is nothing “smart” about it… and as a matter-of-fact, is not a smart tv. With the Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite, you can watch television programs through it. All you need is internet. Basically, if you have internet and this contraption, you have cable to watch your favorite shows. Some of them you never even knew they existed before. You can movies, or even watch some of them for free with ads. Buy It. Unless, you want to pay your cable bill every month for no reason. This about it. You can watch Gordon Ramsay go ballistic on someone for burning the darn chicken for free, instead of being billed for it. No Brainer.

I have an older tv in a vacation home and I couldn’t get some streaming services that I was subscribed to except through the DVD player (and that was limited also). I bought this with fingers crossed that it would work with my set up. Like I said, the TV is old -it still works and I don’t want to replace an already good television. It still has the input needed to accommodate the fire stick, so I figured why not try it out.
Works great, haven’t had one issue. I get every streaming service that I subscribe to, with options for more of I choose to. I love that I can use my iPhone as a remote.
I’m shaking my head rn, wondering why I didn’t get one sooner 🤦🏻♀️ for the price there was no reason not to have gotten one.

Fire sticks do not pair to all televisions, such as older models or those with built in DVD players. You have to use two remotes. First, the remote that came with the TV turns it on and off and adjusts the volume. Then, the fire stick remote does everything else. If this is what you need, this is the best deal. It costs less. Plus it does not have those extra buttons to confuse people. I have a small flat screen in a study/spare bedroom that has a built in DVD player. Very handy. But, it does not pair to a fire stick. When people used it I told them, “it takes two remotes, one for the TV and one for the fire stick”. But as soon as they saw the power and volume buttons on the fire stick remote, they tried them and complained the TV did not work. Without those extra buttons on the fire stick remote, it eliminates that problem. Plus, it costs less. It is exactly what I need for this television. If you want a fire stick that pairs to a newer TV so you only have to use one remote, which is what I use on my other televisions, pay a little extra for a fire stick that does all that.

the older fire stick that i have has a volume control on it along with a mute button. This one doesn’t, very disappointing
