I was hopeful at first, the shoe felt good and was a good fit but unfortunately I started to see significant wear after only a few uses and really mild usage – not the kind you’d expect from Pickleball/Tennis – which is what these shoes are suppose to be made for.
After minimal use I have noticed tears in the material of the left shoe, next to seams, and in the middle of the top, neither of which are high pressure areas. The material is just bad – you can tell it’s failing – it feels more like a plastic material than fabric which makes me wonder if these are legit. I need to reach out to Asics. I contacted the seller but had no more response after a request for pictures. I highly recommend you AVOID these shoes and this seller.

I started playing pickle ball this summer on hard courts outside and my regular running shoes didn’t work on the hard courts. But as I started playing more aggressively my shoes have been sliding on the court. This made me invest in the court shoes and glad I chose these shoes. For the price I paid, these shoes have a great design and the fit is amazing. As I mentioned I needed a good pair of shoes that can withstand the slides on the court I was having and these shoes 👟 worked great for me.
Another good thing about the shoes is that they are super lightweight and comfortable. I absolutely recommend these shoes for anyone who is planning to use them on hard courts.

When I think of ACICS, I think of running, jogging shoes. This particular shoe is described as a tennis shoe. It certainly is too stiff to serve as a running shoe, but because of the support it gives, I like it for an every day shoe. The sizing is accurate, size 14 for me, and the construction is top notch. Wearing this shoe, my legs are not tired and achy at the end of the day. I would purchase them again.

I like to buy my husband red tennis shoes for Valentine’s Day each year and these are great performers. They have lasted durability wise and easy to put on and have great stability while playing tennis. They grip well and you don’t slide and as tennis pro we only like ASICS!

However, they should come with an extra pair of shoelaces! Just after a MONTH of owning these- not even playing daily, the lace on my left shoes blew out! 😆

I’ve tried so many different shoes for pickleball and these are by far the best. The tread has held up well and the grip is great. I play 2-3 times a week and my level is close to 4.0. I never have to worry about my feet when I play and no foot pain after.
