Doesn’t stink like gay ben. Works fine but it’s somewhat greasy compared to its little brother that comes in a bottle (see pic above) if you can find it.
Relieves arthritis pain and sore muscles. I use it on my hands sometimes when my joints ache. Might work for you. Can’t figure out why the bottle version of this is so hard to find and if you do find it, it’s more expensive.

So this isn’t a box of chocolates; you know what you’re going to get, if you’ve used it before.
If you’ve never used it, like a lot of these rub-on topical pain relievers, often the pain relief is base don the placebo effect, the relief is in your head. With some people the relief is from rubbing, and rubbing on vegetable oil would give the same relief. Grandma seems to like this Aspercreme, and she uses it like Chris Rock’s father used Robitussin.

I continue to use aspercreme usually evening of or next day post workouts to help with aches and pains that I can apply directly to the spots needing it (IE wrists, shoulders, elbows, back, etc…). It continues to perform admirably.
Recommended!

Aspercreme works great for me. Takes away my minor pains. Ben Gay doesn’t but Acreme does. Good stuff.

I didn’t expect it to be this effective. As you rub it in it seems like it is doing nothing, but then a few minutes later it just does not hurt. Wonderful! Surprisingly the biggest problem at first is getting a small enough amount on your fingers to rub in to the problem spot. It really takes only a small amount. I rub it in for a few minutes and have a paper towel or napkin nearby and wipe it off and that’s all there is to it.
It’s quite inexpensive, too…for sure an added plus.

This was not as effective in pain relieving capabilities compared to the Aspercreme with 4% Lidocaine Maximum Strength Creme that comes in the 4.7 oz. bottle. I did not recognize the name of the “pain reliever” medication that was used in this compound. I did not find this to be nearly as helpful for deep joints (spinal vertebrae, hip ball and socket, etc.) as the formulation that contained the Lidocaine (Which was not that effective in those areas either.)
Pam Osborne –
My doctor had prescribed different medications for the pain in my back and hip from arthritis. They didn’t work or had bad side effects. I browsed through Amazon looking for a topical cream with high reviews. Aspercreme was well reviewed. It was worth a shot and boy did it pay off. Pain subsided within two days. I strongly recommend this product. I don’t know if it will work for other back conditions but for the price, it’s something to try.
ALEXANDER SMITH –
Virtually odorless, which I like, and it really relieves pain for me. I’ve tried more expensive and even prescription stuff and CBD oil, which was smelly and didn’t work as well and cost a ton. You rub this in a bit so it doesn’t stay goopy on the surface. Pain relief is subtle, but lasts 4-6 hours. I have a couple of tubes in key locations around the house. I use it for joints and muscle pains and strains.
