I have used about 5 different little TENS units before this one. They all helped with pain relief but had Quality-of-Life issues.
This is the one for me. It advertises a 90 minute timer, which is better than the 60 minute ones I had before. However, after reading the insert, I saw it has an unlimited timer setting available. This is the holy grail for me. I can put it on and leave it running until I’m done using it. Having one that doesn’t shut off periodically is wonderful. It’s also got a touch screen to make getting to settings easy and intuitive. I love this thing.
There are two things on my wish list that would make this perfect:
– Make the charging port USB-C; get with the times.
– The sticky pads leave behind little adhesive boogars when you pull them off. Annoying. I’ll stop using the pads that came with this brand and switch to something else when they are used up.
Bonus: I found a case with a clip that fits this unit perfectly. It holds the TENS device with room for the electrode cord sticking up from the top. This or something with similar dimensions is extremely helpful:

If works fine, although the design/instructions for using different modes can be improved.
The major issue is with battery like. Even after fully charging (2-3 hrs per instructions), the battery depleted in <12 hrs without being used. This means that you have to keep it plugged in all the time except when you use it! Maybe I got a bad unit, but don't want to return it since I already used the adhesive electrodes.

I have a bad shoulder (rotator disc), very painful with certain motions, and a painful elbow trying to lift even light weights. Orthopaedic surgeon suggests physical therapy first and injection if that doesn’t work. Want to avoid both if I can. Decided to try this product, not really expecting much, but worth it to try. Wrong! I have pretty notable improvement in both areas after just 10 days of use so far. More movement before pain sets in with my shoulder. And I can lift more weight without pain in my elbow. So, this is worth every penny so far and I’m going to keep using it, looking for still more improvement. Price for this is half of what some other machines cost so I think I made an great choice with this unit. Be sure to carefully read through the instructions and you may get good results too.

Will need to charge it right out of the box. And it does hold it’s charge long. So charge for a long time… but it works really well. Many patterns to choose from also.

Love this TENS unit. Great for back pain relief. Far superior to the Zynex Medical Nexwave Tens unit for an appropriate price.
Zynex sent my insurance company a $218 bill for one month of ‘supplies’. Guess what a supply is. A 9 volt battery and some replacement pads. You can buy 20 replacement pads on amazon for $10.
How much did Zynex bill insurance for the acutal TENS unit? You won’t believe this. Over $2,250. The insurance company rejected the bill because (in my opinion) Zynex is misrepresenting the billing code and charging for ‘durable medical equipment’, like it is some fancy electronic implant. It isn’t. It is a simple Tens unit worth about $50. The insurance company wrote in the denial “BASED UPON THE INFORMATION REPORTED OR CONTAINED IN THE FILE, SERVICES WERE NOT RENDERED AS BILLED. THE PATIENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AMOUNT”
Buy this Auvon TENS unit instead. The Auvon unit is stylish, looks similar to a small white iPhone, has a rechargeable battery (instead of bulky 9V batteries), and is far slimmer than the bulky Zynex unit.

I had a different unit previous to this one that did not have a continuous mode and only had a burst mode which was not only annoying but did nothing for my back pain. Received this unit today and within a matter of minutes of using it, I had relief! The continuous TENS is what I need and this unit provides just that. This unit is easy to use and the directions were easy to understand. The unit was fully charged out of the box so I was able to use it immediately after it was delivered. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking to purchase a TENS unit. I would definitely purchase this brand again.
