Excellent hunting rifle. Shooting at firearm velocities It’s not going to disappoint. Well made. Bought this for hunting. Destroys single loaders. 5 round repeater is perfect. Super silent, animals do not spook. Highly accurate and powerful enough for one shot kills on large bucks. Completely mushrooms the 115 grain hollows I like to run through the rifle. What else can you want? I run 9mm through it because it’s cheaper than .357 and I’m getting 1000 fps using 9mm 115 grain hollow. I pay 20$ for a box of 100. If you get ammo on pyramid air every third box is free. Cheap cheap cheap ammo. I’ve ran 1000 rounds through my gun with no problems. Hand pump works for me. I put negative reviews on things fast. I’m hard to make happy. This made me very very happy. I can’t believe the quality. I’ve dropped this on concrete and it didn’t damage the rifle at all. UPDATE: had this for two years. Haven’t had one issue. Holds air as it did when I first bought it. I have left it fully pumped for months at a time. Loses 100 psi after 4 weeks charged. Its not wearing out. Just need to touch up the black paint!!!! Awesome price now. I paid 1000 when it first came out and I don’t regret it at all. Its heavy. The barrel weighs s bit. ABS plastic takes a beating. No cracks!!
Update: Still getting a lot of use. Cheap fun that you are going to miss out on. If I was buying rounds for a firearm I’d be spending big money. Not me I buy $20 for 100 pellets and it’s buy three get one free.

This is my first PCP air gun, and it has been great. Been shooting with it for a couple of months, and it has been a real joy. I live in a pretty rural area, and have a pretty large back yard, so I’m able to make use of this at home.
The good –
It’s a lot of fun, the noise can be listed as a pro and a con. A .356 pellet is basicaly a 9mm lead pellet. When you shoot, you really feel like there is a lot of power, so for things like target shooting for fun, this thing is just a hoot.
With a Vortex scope I’ve been able to hold about 1″ groupings at about 120′. So I think Accuracy is very good.
The Power of this thing is just another part of the fun, I have been using old retired pots and pans for targets and this thing punches right through them. Wheel + Tire sets seem to have made pretty good bullet traps as well, the rounds will punch through the tire, but not the rim.
I have not had any sort of failure to fire as of yet, the benjamin has been very reliable.
Cons – Needs air. Pump sold separately.
Limited shots without carrying an air cylinder or a pump. If you wanted to go hunting, you have about 11 rounds of air in the air gun itself. The magazines hold 5 rounds each, but special aftermarket magazines can hold 6!
Actually filling a PCP air gun is kind of special. You can use a hand pump, which takes about 200 pumps, and that’s kind of difficult, and then that gives this gun about 11 high powered shots. after about 10-11 shots your air cylinder will be around 1600-1800 PSI, at which your accuracy and power will decrease. So… Pump 200 more times, and your good to go for 10-11 shots more. A manual hand pump will also cost you 50-200+ Dollars, and you will need to remember to keep some sort of moisture filter system inline when you fill the air gun, because moisture will rot the inside of your air gun eventually.
Alternatively, there are ways to make this process easier. They sell small compressed air tanks, or you can use a scuba tank or an SCBA tank. Refilling these however is harder than you might think. A home air compressor that you pump up tires with will only pump to around 160-200 PSI normally. To achieve a greater pressure you will need a special high PSI compressor. Getting one at home will run you (from what I’ve seen) 250-1000+ Dollars. So this is not as easy as just ordering the air gun and some pellets and going to have some fun. You have to figure out what will work for you. If you happen to have access to a scuba shop or a fire station, you can use Scuba or SCBA cylinders to refill the benjamin. You will need a special adapter/quick connect regulator with pressure relief to make this work. (Another $50). And high pressure is dangerous, so be careful.
Noise, in the event you have closer neighbors and don’t want to bother them with the noise of shooting, it is pretty loud. Without living in a rural place I would not be able to make use of this for target practice.
Expensive: I think as PCP air guns get more popular cost will come down, but besides the air gun, you still need to spend extra before your able to operate it. Overall, I would definietly say that it has been worth it for me. But I can see it would be a deterent for others.

I have received this gun today and spent about 5 hours with it. I own 3 other air guns. Two spring piston, and a co2 pistol. This is a different animal. The power astounds me. I set it up with bipod, Bugbuster scope, and a tactial light. Spent 4 shots sighting it in with JB Kings. I have not tried the montser Nosler Bullets it comes with. Yes I said bullets because that is exactly what the Noslers are. >357 bullets, not pellets. They must have massive power, because the JB Kings are amazing. I have the hand pump. With that I will get a good workout every day. Maybe someday a compressor, but your talking $1,000 or better for one of those.
The looks have grown on me already, the classic one liner about these type guns surely applies.
“Phased Plasma rifle in the 40 watt range” Arnold of course, as the Terminator. That is what this gun reminds me of whenever I see it.
I also am suprised at the weight. Not bad at all, well balanced on the shoulder for me. It feels good, looks awesome, and has unbelievable power.
I recommend you quit messing with BB guns and invest in a real weapon. I did, and I am defineately happy that I did.

I have fired quite a few rounds through this rifle. It is dead on accurate, and more powerful than I even thought before. Shooting into 1/8″ plate, It makes a huge dent, and the slug completely mushrooms to the size of a quarter, amazing. This weapon will completely destroy the overly destructive groundhogs we have around here. If I had to make a one-word review it would be “wow “. Power is nothing without accuracy, this rifle has both.
Update #2: This rifle is superb! And tough, I am clumsy, I dropped the rifle, knocked it off the back of the cart actually, and it hit the scope, broke one of the flip up covers, but it still shoots dead on. Wow, I guess that’s good for the scopes rep too. A Leapers UTG True Hunters Scope. Amazing rifle. I suffer from extreme “buyers remorse”, but absolutely none on this purchase.
Update: October 15 2017. Well, I have two “big bore” air rifles, this Bulldog and a Sam Yang Recluse. Let me tell you, this Bulldog wipes the floor with the Recluse. More power, more shots per fill, and much more accurate. I wish I had never purchased the Recluse, I would much rather have two of these Bulldogs. Completely satisfied with this gun.
