As noted by another reviewer, these are NOT authentic Bosche. They are Delphi, just peel the label. That being said, the factory coil is made by Delphi with a little MB logo on it, just like the factory NKG spark plugs. I have a few issues with these. They do not fit into to factory coil wire connector very well. I had to try a couple to find one that would seat all the way down, but the remaining clip on the connector would not go all the way over the little black lip on the coil itself. It’s like the coil connector is just like a 1/64″ too long, so the wire connector retainer clip can’t clear the retainer lip of the coil connector and allow the little gray retainer to lock on to the lip. Could possibly sand the tip a little, but I’ve got it in for the moment. Going to check it periodically to be sure it’s staying seated. On the plus, after a spark plus swap and swapping one coil, my 2012 gl 550 purs like a kitten. I will probably return these, and order the factory replacement coil, as I don’t feel comfortable with how they connect to the factory ignition wire connector. I’m not happy with being duped either. Be better Amazon. And seller, you should be ashamed, selling fake products.

I had a code on my 2006 E350 Mercedes that specified a misfire on one of my cylinders. After changing the one that was initially noted, and all of the sparkplugs, I received a code for a second cylinder. Thus! I decided to change the remaining 5 and I have had no problem since.

Easy to install, don’t be confused about #1 cylinder, in Mercedes S550 it is front passenger side. With a V configured engine #1 will always be a little farther forward (think of the interaction with the crank shaft, they both can’t occupy the same space

I replaced my ignition coil with this item due to a misfire in my engine in September. The misfire check engine code went away and my engine apparently working fine. But a few month later in winter when the weather was cold in the morning and anytime during the day my engine was rough for a 10 to 15 first minutes. Also I noticed that I never got the gas millage that I was getting before ignition coil replacement finally I bought a used Mercedes ignition coil and replace this one. The engine runs smooth and gas mileage is back to normal. After this, I was curious about the authenticity of part. as you can see in picture the Bosch sticker does not seem to authentic. I pealed that sticker and underneath was “Delphi” brand!!! Isn’t it fraud?! I hope amazon investigate this seller.
