Burt’s Bees is a quality company that makes excellent products. This tinted lip gloss is my favorite. It goes on smooth and you can layer it for deeper color. This Red Dahlia color is so complementary to my skin tone, it goes with everything. My lips feel soft and conditioned. It even gives your lips a gentle gloss. And I got two tubes at once so when the first one runs out (which happens sooner than I imagine because I use it so much), I’ve already got a back-up! Happy with Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Gloss!

I was looking for a replacement for Burt’s Bees thinner versions of tinted lip balms that apparently have been discontinued? They’re more neutral shades (nudes and sheer) whereas this shade was to vivid pink for me.
As far as the moisturizing aspect, it works well but don’t expect it to be a one and done application. I had to reapply every few hours and I’m not a lip licker and without eating or drinking. I might look at other colors… I sure do miss the thinner versions, they had different scents like peppermint – not that is why I want them but I loved a few of the colors.

I use this lip balm to moisten my lips & give a little color too but I also use it after my lipstick starts to fade a bit! It really looks great with a little more color underneath & the color lip balm over it. That way it’s so moist! It seems sometimes lip gloss makes my lipstick fade more.

I love this lip balm. I needed something to help keep my lips hydrated and add a little color to them. I’m not particularly eager to wear lipstick so this lip balm is perfect. The Red Dahlia is the perfect color. I like that you get two tubes. I highly recommend this lip balm for anyone that doesn’t particularly like to wear lipstick, and or would like just a little color.

First off, I am so addicted to the regular Burts Bees peppermint lip balm. I always have a tube of it in a pocket or bag somewhere because it’s so dry here and you’ve just got to protect yourself. But having that on my lips made it hard to wear lipstick at work. So the tinted balm is literally the BEST! I have olive skin and bought the Red Dahlia color, which looks fantastic. It’s sheer, so I don’t look too made up, but definitely adds nice color. II also smooth it around the edges of my lips, like overlining, to make my lips look a little fuller… the balm is sheer enough not to look too made up, but adds a really nice hit of color and polish. Also, and this might not be something you want to do every day, but one day at work I had to go to an unexpected meeting and of course felt like I needed just a little touch up to look fresh… the red dahlia balm worked great as a cream blush on my cheeks too! One more reason to love Burts Bees!
