This is a great little pot. I originally bought it for a camper but use it all year round in house. It is the perfect size for 2 people and I love the fact that it has the coffee/tea dripper which was my main reason for choosing this particular one. The full max line heats up in 3-4 min.

So the stem on this unit was obviously not welded correctly. Leaking started immediately, and now 4 months in it just leaves a huge mess, and you can see rust and corrosion, as well as limescale (the latter which could be cleaned by citric acid solution).
I had a nearly identical kettle which lasted 5-6 years, but buttons were worn out. I liked the design, so had hopes this would fare similarly, but I would not recommend this, even if you find it much cheaper than the 49.99 + tax I paid. Look elsewhere.

Embarrassingly, I killed my last stovetop gooseneck kettle. Forgot it on the burner for an hour and roasted it. After that, I ordered this product so that never happened again! I use it for my all purpose kettle, but also make a lot of pour over coffees with it.

When I discovered ‘pour over’ coffee, I knew I needed a gooseneck vessel to pour for the best control when pouring. It heats up quickly and isn’t terribly noisy – not whistling, etc. It is a little challenging to see the min/max level marks on the inside, but not impossible. If they extended further in the interior, that would be best.
The pour over filter that came with it made this item a one-stop-shop to see if pour over coffee was best for me. As much as I love that it is no-waste, I don’t care for the taste of coffee brewed through the metal filter. I have since purchased a ceramic pour over maker and paper filters. It is awesome for single or two servings.

Temperature reading already off by 3F from the get go (it’s a tap water). Final temp. is also of by 3-4F. Try to figure out what’s wrong with the seller and they gave me the lamest excuse, stating there is a temp. different between top and bottom of the pot. Water temperature should be uniform on small volume. This is just a 1 L kettle for crying out loud. Not a 1000 Gallon tank with 5 feet depth. And tap water temp. should be pretty stable.
Also the keep warm does not work.

My experience with electric kettles is that, no matter how high-end, they crap out after a year or two. As a result, with my current one nearing the one-year mark, I went looking for a backup so I wouldn’t have to order one in a hurry. This looks like it will do the job. I kind of prefer the glass ones, so you can easily see how full they are (this one has min/max marks on the inside), but for a very basic model, this seems okay.
