This case is very well build with pretty good padding. It is perfect for me since I can hang it in my closet and unzip and get the guitar out .

I’m very pleased with the quality and design of this guitar case at such a reasonable price. It is so much easier to use and protects so much better than the flimsy one that came with my guitar. I especially like the double adjustable shoulder straps and the extra handles on front and back (it also has the usual one on the side). The front handle makes it so easy to place the guitar in my car – when holding it by the back straps, I can lift the body by that front handle and place it gently wherever it needs to be. The large pocket on the front can hold a 9″x 12″ music folder and other items, and the small pocket on the neck is good for small, narrow items, like pens or markers. It’s also quite roomy. My classical guitar has a 15″x19″x4″ body and is 39″ overall length, but there’s room for an instrument that is 3″ longer and a bit wider. So glad I found this!

I got this for my partner when their bass didn’t fit properly into the case I had originally bought for them (my fault). This was perfect for their bass, and we’ve been using it for storage so far! It fits well in our closet and under our bed, and so far it’s been easy carrying it around when we have left the house with their bass. The material is sturdy, as is the strap, and it looks just like the photo! It holds up really well, and it’s extremely versatile and perfect. 10/10 performance, and I recommend it for everyone looking for a case 🙂

I recently got a great deal on a Yamaha APX600 off of craigslist. I wanted a gig bag to store the guitar and for light transport but the name brands are priced about the same as I paid for the guitar! This bag is perfect for my needs and was on sale on Amazon. The bag appears well made, zippers are good and there is decent padding for your instrument. The fit is decent for my smaller concert APX guitar. I don’t think a larger dread would fit in this case. The padding is light so this is not the right bag for a life on the road, but for a simple road trip or transport to practice it’s fine. There are a lot of handles and backpack straps. Obviously, if I had a more expensive instrument I would buy a better bag of hard case, but for this guitar the bag is perfect. Great little bag at a good price for light padding!

We will see how well it wears but so far it’s good for my needs.

This is a great solid bag for acoustic guitars. Shipping was fast and it has many different storage pockets for sheet music and picks.

Love my new case! It’s padded and easy to wear. I got the acoustic version for my Danelectro Longhorn to have enough space for her tulip shaped belly. There is a pocket for my amp cord and space to carry my small tuner and a spare bass guitat strap. The straps fit well over my shoulders for a back carry or there is a small carry strap too. Thinking I can even fit a thin towel over her inside for extra protection. Zipper seems durable.

I’ll post this review hoping it will help someone because I was puzzling over whether this would fit my guitar. I bought this for a Takamine GD20-NS, (dreadnought) and it fits fine for me. I see some say that a dread is a bit snug. I can see what they mean, in particular at the bottom of the case (see picture.)

First, some dimensions of the guitar:
    Overall length: 41-1/8”
Width of body at lower bout: 15-13/16”
Depth of body at endpin: 4-7/8”

In the case, and held upright, there is about 1-1/2″ of play between the top inside of the case, and the top of the headstock. Held on its side, at the lower bout area there is about 3/4″ of play. For me, that’s fine.

If you look at the bottom of the case in the picture, the case expands to accommodate the 4-7/8” depth at the endpin. The actual seams are about 4-1/4” apart. While the case is not actually squeezing the guitar, the depth of the guitar is outside the seams. Personally, I do not have a problem with this. I can see where some may call this “snug”, but I’m not uncomfortable with it. It zips up fine. Also, some dreadnoughts may differ slightly in dimensions, depending on manufacturer, etc. But this is probably the biggest guitar I’d want to put into this case, depth-wise.

Reality check: This case was $20. It’s basic protection. Let’s face it; this is not a flight case. This is marketed as a sort of universal case which can accommodate a few different sizes. Dreads are bigger guitars. I tried my smaller classical guitar in this, and it’s kind of swimming in it. I think the padding is adequate for careful handling. The quality of this case is very good, and most especially considering the price tag.

I’ll use this for storage at home, and even to carry from place to place. But I would not use this to throw into the back of a van with all sorts of equipment knocking around. This is obviously not the case for a really expensive guitar. But bottom line, I received exactly what I expected: An inexpensive case for basic protection when the guitar is not either on its stand, or better yet, in my hands being played.

The guitar bag has a generous amount of padding and will definitely keep your guitar protected from any external (albeit minor to intermediate) impact.

Great for the price and value , i highly recommend.
Just FYI , i bought this to take my guitar on an international flight , however was NOT allowed to take as it has not a hard body.
