Great watch. First time I have purchased one that was not black. The gray was good change. I usually get about 5 years out of my G-Shocks and they get beat up pretty hard. I have never had one fail by getting wet. Just know when you buy this style the time is hard to see at night with the light. It is not very bright. Does not bother me.

… I ended up buying it and and happy I did … My main concern was the light which does the trick for me (allows you to see the analog time at night) … it would be nice if the whole thing lit up like an indiglo watch, but considering all the other great features and good price on sale, I’m willing to overlook this … I was worried that the shade of grey might be too light (based on some reviews), but it’s a nice dark shade, while not as dark as in the advertised pictures … The functions, settings, and setting it up were a piece of cake after watching some YouTube videos … My watch came in “eco friendly” packaging rather than the aluminum box seen elsewhere, but I’m fine with that too … Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase and hope it lasts a long time … A special thanks to Amazon for stellar customer service, the quick delivery, and the nice discount … I hope this review helps anyone who is on the fence like I was …

I got this for my son who is a US Marine. It’s almost like the one they sell at the MCX. He’s off to Recon training and this watch is exactly what he wanted, water proof and functional, perfect size. He likes it and that’s all that matters.

The watch is unreadable in even dim light. I really liked the look of the watch in the product image, which is likely well lit to enhance it’s readability. Even on a foggy day, it becomes difficult to read the watch. After dark, it’s just a black object and the watch light merely lights up a portion of the watches bottom half and casts a shadow over the rest.
I am disappointed in Amazon because they know this is a frequently returned, yet take up to 30 days to process a refund.
I have a problem with the refund being delayed. I returned it due to it being unreadable in dim light. It turns out there are numerous customer complaints about the watch’s unreadability. I am guessing that on some items Amazon is taking longer to provide refunds, in this case it says it might take 30 days! I think that is unreasonable, especially for a long time customer who spends thousands of dollars/year on Amazon. I will be reluctant to make other than small purchases on Amazon.

If you are a friend of dark color and tired of just black this color is great. Casio is a great product I have owned gshock watches for about 40 years. The quality is amazing looks great and compared to my last 700 series watch this one has a brighter light and easy to read time hands. Battery is new (I am figuring) but so far so good

This watch is just awesome. I love the colors and how it feels on the wrist. Has all the functionality you need and it has a beautiful display, the display is easy to read at night and the backlight is bright, doubles as a flashlight. The digital part does not light up which sucks but overall that’s not a big deal for me. This watch is also strong as this is my second one, I also have a black one that I wear to work and welding with it on, I’ve abused the other one savegly, dropped it swam in the ocean with it and worn it to the gym for a year, it’s a beast. This new one is my dress watch as I wear it out on the go. Just love this timepiece. My absolute favorite of all my watches. Shipping was great and the watch comes well packaged. I just love looking at the dial, it’s just gorgeous. The pictures don’t do justice.

To start, I like the large face and overall style of the watch. The buttons feel very durable as well. Setting up the watch was easy enough with a YouTube video. However, the reason for 4 stars is the back light. It’s definitely bright but It only lights up the analog portion of the face. If both the digital and analog sections of it lit up, that would be a guaranteed 5 stars.
