This is actually a good package. I would like to see a pamphlet inserted on how to use the tuner and some simple instructions with regard to tightening bow before playing and then loosening it during storage, etc. I was able to find info on Youtube.com that was helpful but again, inserting this info would be beneficial to someone brand new like me.

I bought this violin for my 8 years old son. After I opened the box, I found out it came two bows. one bow was find but there were some horse hairs were broken on another bow. There was no bridge on the violin and there was a marker 3/4 on the violin. I took the violin to my son’s violin teacher for tune the violin. He found out there were two bridges in the violin case. One of the bridges did not match the violin but another one was fine. After he installed the bridge, he found out one of the fine tuners was defective. I had to send it back to get the refund and bought a used one in local music store. I didn’t understand why the seller didn’t check it out before they shipped out the product. I won’t buy this brand any more even if it had a good deal.

This “violin” is of such poor quality that my daughter’s music instructor insisted we ship it back. The strings kept breaking and the pegs weren’t stable. It would not stay in tune for more than one minute. Literally. Once it was tuned, it would immediately go out of tune. It’s pretty and the carrying case is nice, but that’s not what’s important here. DO NOT BUY!!!
