I was looking for a nice and light/breathable mesh type summer shoe with some style. I normally wear size 9 Cole Haan shoes, but decided to try a size 8.5 hoping that without socks it would fit ok. But when I got the shoes, I found the fit very narrow at the tip and it was a bit too small. Overall the shoe is very light weight and breatheable, with quality materials. The colors shown on the website seem totally different/washed out compared to the actual product that I got. I included some photos of the Optic white/Chalk/Vapor grey model, it’s much more light grey with some darker laces and side/back as well (which I didn’t mind at all).

I have worn 3 pairs of these shoes, and each last about a year. However, in that year I am walking about 15,000 steps a day in them. They hold up to the test of time, and I only change them as they start to lose the grip on the bottom.

However, if you aren’t going to be traversing the entire city in a day, your feet should fare just fine. People with slighter feet may very well not encounter this issue.

The shoes come recommended, provided you know how you will use the shoes and what your foot anatomy is. In my case, I’m a US size 11 and ordered an 11. They fit well and wear snugly, until I walk further than a mile, then the toes begin to feel tight.
