Great for pain relief on my back, Good price compared to others. Well made.
Prof. DM –
This red light therapy pad is large, about 24″ x 12″ in size. The pad seems to be well-made in high quality. There are 22 rows by 11, or a total of 242 red light LEDs on the pad, with each LED can generate both the 660nm and 850nm infrared light. The 660nm wavelength is within the visible red light spectrum and it is often used for therapeutic purposes such as pain relief, skin rejuvenation and promote wound healing. The 850nm wavelength is beyond the visible spectrum, so it is not visible to the human eye. This 850nm red light could penetrate deeper into the tissues to improve circulation, stimulate cellular metabolism, promote cellular repair and regeneration.
The pad can be used on your back, your legs, arms or any part of your body that you want to apply the therapy. The control is simple and the operation is easy. You can feel the warm and energy penetrate your tissues. It is really comfortable and enjoyable to use and you can have the red light therapy at home, or even during traveling. The pad is compact and convenient to use. Overall, this is a decent red light therapy pad and it works great as it should be.

This is a very large red light therapy pad that is great to treat the large body parts, such as the back, belly and lap. I have tried to use it on my back waist with the help of the included strap. It is very comfortable and very relax after usage. The pad has a pretty solid colorless sheet to cover the lights. It allows limited bending to yield to the body shape. The back side of the pad is soft fabric that can match to Velcro hooks so that the pad can be fastened to the body. There are three modes and three levels to use. I found the highest level and the mode with both wavelengths are the best. It needs more than 5 minutes to feel the effect, since the power is not very high. I do have one suggestion for the pad. It might be better to be either harder to maintain a fixed shape or more soften to cover the body more closely. At the current model, the corners of the pad do not contact the body closely.

I have three other red light products and when I wrote the first review for the smallest of them, I knocked it as being flimsy. Now I realize that is one of the great benefits of the pad. It is flexible and it is by far the one I use the most. That is why I selected this larger version of the same product. Its flexibility and larger size will serve me well in treating the myoclonus and pain of what’s left of my amputated leg. Instead of having to move the smaller one 6 times to get full coverage, this one will go right around the stump and in 30 minutes, the treatment is done.

This is a real nice red light therapy pad. I already have a smaller belt that’s nice, but wanted this larger pad to hopefully relieve some back pain & it has been a help, for sure.
It’s easy to get setup & start using right away as the included instructions are pretty clear. It delivers a nice & comfortable warmth to the area applied, much like a heating pad.
Very happy with the relief it provides. I prefer this pad for my back over a red therapy lamp because I’m not a fan of potentially buggering up my eyes (or my dog’s eyes, for that matter).
I do, however, wish that this came with a pair of protection glasses, especially because the controls are on the pad itself, not on the cord or anything. I had to fumble around by lighting up the pad first before I was able to get my body into position & place it on my back. Fortunately, I already have a pair of glasses & wasn’t harmed by the lights all over the place during this process, but most first time users would not & I feel it’s better to be safe than sorry. At the current price of $99.99, I really do think glasses should’ve been included.
All in all, I’m pleased with this & can recommend to anyone who wants some targeted relief.

This has been a great experience. The pad is quite large and is packed with LEDs. The controls are on the device and you simply plug in the pad and turn it on. There are a few modes that you can select and thats it. Super nice for larger body areas such as the back. The lights are slightly warm and works just fine as a red light therapy product.

I want to read this higher, because it is a simple and effective product. Unfortunately, the controls are on the pad itself. This makes it difficult to set and turn it on when you’re using it on your back. You need to see the power and mode button in order to get the proper settings. Red being the highest intensity and red being the red + NIR. Also, it lends itself to accidentally looking directly at the lights, which is a no no. Had they been able to put the controls in line on the cord, it would be excellent. There would be much less chance of accidental viewing of the light.
The side of the pad that touches your skin is basically plastic. This is neither good nor bad. It just is. Except if you’re using it on your backs of your thighs or buttocks, and sitting on it; then it kind of sticks like your thighs on a hot car seat on a summer day.
The plastic on the light side makes it a little more rigid, so it doesn’t contour to your body’s curves very well. But it does get the job done.
In case you’re wondering, it does get warm. It’s like using a heating pad on a medium heat, but it never gets the point where you feel like you’re getting burned it’s just a pleasant warmth.
The unpleasant worms, is on the control buttons. Those get kind of hot to the touch. Not quite burn you hot, but concerning hot. Again, this could probably be avoided or lessened if the controls were in the power cord.
The instructions do not mention it, but having looked up best ways to utilize infrared and near infrared light therapy, you should not use it over clothing. Bare skin is best, so is not to diminish the effects and penetration of the light.
