I’ve been using the HALTI No Pull Harness for my medium-sized dog, and it’s been a game changer for our walks. As a DIY enthusiast, I appreciate tools and gadgets that make tasks easier, and this harness fits the bill perfectly.

What I really like about this harness is how it immediately reduces my dog’s pulling. The design is simple yet effective, making our walks much more enjoyable. It’s also adjustable, so getting the right fit was easy, and my dog seems comfortable wearing it.

The reflective material is a nice touch, adding an extra layer of safety during our evening strolls. It’s lightweight, which means my dog doesn’t feel burdened, and I appreciate that it doesn’t look bulky on him.

On the downside, it took a bit of time for my dog to get used to the harness. He was a bit uncomfortable at first, but with a little patience and positive reinforcement, he adapted quickly.

This harness has made a significant difference in our daily walks, reducing the strain on both of us. It’s an excellent tool for dog training, and I’m pleased with how it has improved our outdoor time. If you’re struggling with a pulling dog, this harness is definitely worth a try.

Recomendo! Além disso a entrega foi super rápida.

I don’t write many reviews, but this harness was a LIFESAVER.

    Harness Size: Med
    Pupper: 45-50 lb Husky/GSD

My dog has a high level of fear aggression. A few days ago, she decided (after around almost a YEAR of 0 complaints) to be terrified of her 2HoundsDesign harness. My guess is a combination of the *snap* sound of the buckles, combined with the pressure under her forearms. Morning walk? Completely fine. Evening walk? Tries to bite, is full on Kujo mode, no walk/normal nightly exercise, only goes outside to pee after I make a slip leash, then pouts in her bed the rest of the night. (She was not injured, I made sure to check later). Cue me (stressed out from Xmas hours and sick with the flu), having a breakdown on the kitchen floor, wondering if I’m capable of handling such a reactive dog.

    Halti No Pull Harness:
No snaps, no buckles. Just quickly pulled it over her head, and asked for “paw” on both sides. I wouldn’t say it’s as pull-proof as the 2HoundsDesign, but it’s pretty darn close. No sliding from side to side when I use a double (front/back connection) lead.
I believe that the Halti is superior to the 2Hounds, in that there is quite a bit of slack when she is NOT pulling. Although the 2Hounds design is also padded and has SOME give, it seems rather constrictive, *esp when she is sitting*. I feel like this Halti harness is one I can take with us on long mountain hikes with no worry of chaffing or discomfort. Also, the reflectiveness of the stitching is on point.

    Previous Harnesses:

    Halti Gentle Leader:
Does my dog HATE it? Yes. Do I *love* it? Also, YES. It’s great for when we are in crowded areas and I want FULL control.

    2HoundsDesign:
I loved it until it no longer was an option. I will say that I worried about discomfort/chaffing on some of our longer hikes. But, it has been the best option for reducing pulling over-all.

    Ruffwear Front Range:
Big fan off the Ruffwear brand, NOT a fan of this harness. There is a front lead option. It’s sturdy, but it isn’t metal. Also, it slides around far too much to be functional for a dual lead. Might work for some, but my dog goes full *sled dog* if the lead is attached to just her back.

It helped control our 4 year old 40lb. mixed terrier from pulling. Other harnesses were rubbing her under her front legs causing abrasions. I like that it has a front clasp in addition to the one on the back and I tend to use both.
The only drawback is that it is difficult tightening up and loosening the strap when putting on and taking off the harness.
So far, it seems to be sturdy and I’m hopeful that it will have a long life.

I have tried so many harnesses and some have worked, but have been very difficult and took a lot of time to install. To begin, this has been one of the most fairly priced, easy to install and understand and my dogs haven’t pulled or gone crazy. I have 2 dogs so I bought 2, large and medium. Both dogs have responses perfectly.. my older dog who is use to lunging out the front door when we go on walks, is now calm and subdue .. you can tell he is like what the heck is going on, but I’m shoulder pain and aggravation are no more .. I was so happy how quickly these worked and love how easy they are to put on the dogs.

I love this Halti harness, I purchased two med for my 62lb Vizsla and his 34lb 4 month old brother with size Med working for both dogs. Fits the large chest, thin neck of a Vizsla body type well. I like that the nylon straps at the neck are softer than standard harness nylon. I like how easy this harness is to apply and remove. The harness feels very durable and should last a long time.

First, I have a giant breed dog. A Great Dane who’s 7 months old. We have been and are still in training but he has issues with pulling on the leash. My trainer suggested a harness like this so we gave it a shot. I’ve had the harness for about a month now. It’s a great concept and really does decrease the pulling, and this is probably great for smaller dogs. The issue is not the fit (we got the largest size available and it fits him fine now with some room to grow, but maybe not at his full adult size) but the quality of the hardware. The attachment rings both front and back are flimsy and have broken. From the first use I worried they wouldn’t hold, but they did ok until last week when the back clip that’s part of the harness that tightens if he pulls snapped. The front ring didn’t snap but pulled loose from the stitching. Again, my dog is very large and still young and in training, so he PULLS at times and gave this thing a true test. Unfortunately, it failed for us. I do like the concept and plan on replacing this with a similar design if I can find one better made.

My Great Dane is 135lbs, and still a puppy. The chest piece over the head fits him with the adjustments all the way out. If he gets much bigger it will no longer fit over his head or around his chest. There is however, a lot of room around the arms and underbelly. The quality is really good. So, for those of you with big dogs, I hope this is helpful. I just hope he’s done training with the harness before he outgrows it.

    update:
We went to doggy school today and this harness is really well for training. I am training my Great Dane to be a counter balance mobility service dog. The trainer loved this harness. It is getting him ready for his permanent mobility harness. I highly recommend this product
