HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO ADD REVERB EVERY TIME YOU PICK UP AN ACOUSTIC??? Here you go, folks….youre not stick playing in the study or the basement anymore. Play in the backyard or patio, Take this thing to a park or the beach and stare out at the lake while playing. So many possibilities you don’t realize until you play acoustic guitar through this. You could throw a guitar strap on this things standard straplocks and ride a bike to a gig with you guitar in another gigbag. It’s not super heavy. The reverb and chorus are usable on TWO INPUTS and you can run two guitars simultaneously and control he reverb independently on both, or mic the same guitar you have plugged in and get two channels of blended amazing acoustic tone!

If you know what you’re doing witb eqs and preamps going into the amp, this amp sounds really good. Some reviewers say ‘you can’t use BT music or aux while playing an instrument.

That’s not true. You can, you just again…have to know what you’re doing. Eq the guitar with some kind of preamp to level it down so that the speaker can handle both. I was playing along to R.E M and bon jovi on this thing …so it definitely does work.

It doesn’t just work either, it blew my expectations away. If you’ve always wanted an amp that you could throw on the coffee table or the patio and play just slightly louder than your natural acoustic tone…with some added gorgeous reverb…this amp is for you. If you’re a busker and you need accompaniment.. buy 2. Not saying that to truck you it’s just true. No amp this small is going to blast a drum pattern AND amplify am acoustic guitar…just not possible. I have good amps likey boss acoustic singer live LT, it also distorts of you overload it with backing track audio….it’s physics, you can’t have ONE speaker doing TWO loud things at once unless they’re monitor speakers working in stereo. It will always jumble the audio…it’s a single speaker trying to vibrate more than a >12″ speaker can
My first amp had some technical issues, but the team at cool music helped me out and my 2nd one sounds great, and the amp is working great!

This amp is definitely worth it and for practise, guitar teachers that need a lightweight mini rig that TWO people can plug into at once in multiple ways (I checked, and the mic input takes direct)

IT EVEN DIs OUT TO PAs!!! Performers could bring this in lieu of a DI…and even though this is heavier….it’s cheaper than a LOT OF DIs that don’t have this many features .the speaker and the fact it’s all amp is almost a bonus…

And I know this all sounds TOO good but trust me it isn’t. A lot of overseas companies have cracked the code on not just ‘usable’ but good gear…in fact I’ll probably sell my boss amp because…when will I ever use it again really? I just wanted reverb and slightly louder than an acoustic is naturally…that’s all any of us want and this amp delivers.

I wanted to love this little amp, I really did. It had everything I was looking for in a busking amp, not too expensive, two channel, battery powered, super portable and best of all an XLR microphone input. I really wanted to love it. It arrived in the usual fine Amazon fashion we are all used to, well packaged and quick delivery. I charged the battery as is recommended then came the big moment. I plugged in my acoustic/electric Martin flipped the power on and my hopes faded as an unacceptable level of hum and hiss greeted my ears. As I played my guitar it didn’t sound too bad really but the hum was just ever present and no amount of adjustments seemed to help much. I swapped cables and switched to a couple of other guitars including my Gretsch Gin Rickey which is the guitar I had actually purchased this amp for but no luck, nothing helped.
Such a disappointment because I really did want to love this little amp.
I returned it and went a different way.

    August 2021 UPDATE!
I had the opportunity, through a friend, to try out a newer model of this amp and I am pleased to say that I can now recommend them.

The product feels very well built. It is heavy for its size and the fit of everything is tight and finished. The vinyl wrapped body and tweed-like grill cloth are nice and make an attractive package. Knobs and switches don’t feel cheap and work well. These 2 channel amps are equipped with some good features, most notably is the combo jack for the microphone channel, a feature missing from other amps of this kind. This type of jack allows for use of an XLR or 1/4 inch cable. Separate tone controls on each channel make finding the right tone for voice and instrument easy. Reverb on the microphone channel as well as separate reverb and chorus on the instrument channel are a nice feature and function well although the chorus might not be as full blown as some might want but it still does the job. At 30 watts it can get pretty loud which is good if you’re busking in a noisy place. Rechargeable battery makes it portable and uses a USB-C plug which is standard these days. It even has a nice carry strap.
A 1/4 inch DI output allows the amp to be plugged into an external speaker or PA system. I would prefer an XLR out or another combination jack but that’s just my preference. A full size 1/4 inch headphone jack is great! AUX input allows for cable hook up of MP3 player etc. and if you don’t have a cable the unit has Bluetooth on board too.
As I’ve said previously there is a lot to like about this little amp.

But the best news is that the latest generation of the amp has fixed the problem of the noise. There may be a small amount of hiss left over but nothing like it was previously. Those older models were just unusable and now I feel like these amps are living up to their potential.
While there is no way of knowing which generation of amp you will get when you order my advice would be, to try one out and if you experience what I did with mine, return it for an exchange if that’s possible.
That said, the company should be recognized for listening to their customers and doing what needed to be done to make their products better. Nicely done!

Love it! Great price. Great product. Fast delivery. I use it at every gig! It’s super LOUD! Powerful amp for its size. Battery operated, blue tooth…no wires or cables to get in the way. Lightweight, does everything I want it to do. Durable, reliable. Great quality! Sounds so good!

Although I had issues with earlier versions of this amplifier from the winter of 2021 and had returned it a couple of times, I must admit that I am impressed with the customer service from the manufacturer. They contacted me and admitted that there was an issue with early versions but that they had solved the problem by improving the component that was creating the issue. They also direct shipped me a brand new unit to replace my older unit. This new model works perfectly and is obviously an improvement.

For the price in this category, this amp is extremely well thought out and feature-rich. (I have tried a few other brands/models as well). Lots of connectivity with BT, 1/8″, XLR and 1/4″ inputs and D.I. / headphone outputs. Two-band EQ for both channels with a separate reverb for each channel is nice for blending and the chorus and reverb also are better than expected in this price range. The battery life is also excellent for those needing long life while out busking or playing outdoors. The amp volume is very good and more than you would need unless you are playing in a band, but don’t expect the same sort of volumes you would get from a small Fender or Fishman and due to the smaller speaker it will break up a bit if you push it too far (especially in the low end if you don’t EQ it). You can also use the amp while plugged in which is a nice touch for those who forget to charge their devices…

I used this amp this week as a monitor for a vocalist in a live show and it performed very well, and at a fraction of the price of some other small powered monitors.

Overall I would say this amp is a winner and certainly deserves serious consideration in this category for anyone looking for a small portable amp/speaker/monitor.

I like this product. It has high quality, strong sound with a possible 3 separate, simutaneous inputs-guitar, microphone, and Bluetooth streaming. It has battery power and is lightweight. It is powerful enough for a small, or medium size room, possibly larger. It has reverb and chorus effects. The Bluetooth streaming has a separate volume control. This unit appears to be high quality but I’ve only owned it a short time. It can be charged with a USB-C cable and charger. I would recommend a 20 watt charger but a smaller one may still work. I recommend this amp for practice and smaller performances.

This is a great amp that is small, lightweight, powerful, and sounds warm.

I am a professional musician and currently am playing for the Gondola attraction at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. We use battery powered amps and I was looking for a small, portable, good sounding amp. This one fits the bill perfectly!

Features: Small, compact, portable, weighs less than 8 lbs. Two channels, one mic channel and one guitar channel. This is perfect if you sing and accompany yourself at the same time. Can also be used to plug in 2 mics or 2 instruments. The mic channel has XLR/1/4 inch input and controls for volume, bass, treble, and reverb. The guitar channel has a 1/4 inch input and controls for volume, bass, treble, chorus, and reverb. Also, on the top panel, there’s blue tooth button for connecting your phone/tablet and a separate dedicated volume control. There’s also a 3mm headphone plug. So in the way, this is a 3 channel amp! Lastly, there’s a power indicator for the battery status (full, half, low).

The back has plugs for headphone (1/4 inch), DI (1/4 inch, for connecting to PA or an external speaker), AUX IN (3mm, for a wired connection of an mp3 player or a phone) and a USB-C plug for charging the amp (using the charger that comes with the amp or a power bank) with an LED indicator.

Sound: The amp sounds warm, deep, big, and clean! There’s tons of headroom and it doesn’t distort. The sound is reminiscent of Roland JC. It has a 6.5 inch woofer and a 1.5 inch twitter speakers. Both reverb and chorus effects sound very nice and natural.

Loudness: It is really a 30 watt amp! This is definitely enough for busking and any live situation where there’s no external power available. It will work great for solo gigs, as well as duo and trio/quartet.

Rechargeable battery: It takes 3-5 hours to fully charge the internal battery. I used the amp at my work and it lasted through my entire 4.5 hour shift. So it is definitely going to be enough to last for an average 2-5 hour gig.

Portability: Small and compact, weighing 7.7 lbs.

Versatility: while designed for an acoustic (acoustic/electric) guitar, this amp sounds great with electric guitars (single coil, humbuckers, solid body, semi-hollow and hollow body guitars) as well. As mentioned above, it is a very clean sounding amp. However, it does take external pedals (like distortion, wah, etc.) well.

Overall, this is an excellent sounding amp with tons of features, in a lightweight, compact package, portable, rechargeable and ready to be used for any outdoor gig, busking, and much more. It is very reasonably priced.
    I highly recommend it!

When I first received this amp, I thought ‘huh, smaller than I thought.’ (it’s the size of a large birthday cake) But having used it now for several months, I love it! I can plug my electric/acoustic guitar and a SM58 microphone into it and perform acoustic songs like a busker. It amplifies vocals and guitar nicely. Sounds great! Now, I wouldn’t use this if I was a serious busker on the streets, in that case I would spend a lot more money on something serious. However, this is AMAZING for small performances, practicing in my backyard or living room, at small parties etc. I also use it as a karaoke machine – I have a cheap mixer which is necessary if you’re doing karaoke – just connect your phone via bluetooth and go to YouTube for karaoke music. Without the mixer, there isn’t enough signal for the mic so the volume isn’t loud enough over the bluetooth signal, (plug mic into mixer and mixer into mic input on amp) But, with the mixer, it is nice and loud/clear! The bluetooth works perfectly, connects easily every time without any fuss. The battery lasts a very long time, it charges pretty fast too. This is a very cost effective way to have a simple busking setup – you don’t have to go to the streets and perform if you don’t want to, you can do it in your living room for your cats or play in your backyard for the neighbors, squirrels and birds. Lastly, the customer service is excellent! I had an issue with the charging cable and they sent me a new unit, no questions asked – very quickly! If you’re looking for a cheap busking setup that actually works, this is it. Plus, you get the additional features (bluetooth speaker, karaoke etc) – I have purchased many crappy products from Amazon, but this is not one of them, it is excellent value in my opinion.

I already have a CoolMusic BP80 that has served me well as an outdoor amp for a few years – it has a great feature selection, good sound, great battery life, and fair price, so I’ve been very happy with it. However, I wanted something smaller that I could more easily carry on a bicycle. The BP Mini is certainly that. Though a great deal smaller, it feels similarly solid and well thought through. There’s nothing visibly cheap about the construction.and there’s nothing that works badly. Like the BP80, a lot of thought has gone into producing a cheap amp that works well (though, like the BP80, the instruction booklet needs work – very basic and not very informative).

The amp is very clear and pairs nicely with an electro-acoustic guitar, with a good mid-range sound and enough highs and lows to make it sound quite full. However, for my voice (a deep baritone) the lack of bass and high tones is quite noticeable and it kind of flattens out the sound. I’m quite disappointed in this – it really lacks any warmth, height, or depth. It could work well for some thinner voices, but not mine. The lack of phantom power significantly limits the range of microphones you can use, too. Interestingly, it sounds a bit better with the high output of a $25 Behringer SM58 clone than with the lower output of my vintage Shure 55SH.

The two independent inputs and associated controls provide all the basics a solo singer/guitarist is likely to need, albeit little more than that. The independent volume knob for the aux or bluetooth input is a good touch, if you want to feed a backing device into it. The reverb is OK if you keep it low, but not great. The chorus is fine. The DI and headphone out sockets are handy.

It lacks a means to mount it on a stand. With a low powered speaker like this you really do need to get it up high to reach a crowd. I use a small accessory shelf attached to a mic stand for this, but that adds extra stuff to carry that negates some of the point of getting a small amp. I do like the USB power, though, which saves having another big brick and wires to carry around. The battery life is easily enough for a 3 hour gig, with plenty to spare.

Buyer beware: it has 30 watts of Peak Music Power, not RMS. That means that it is about as loud as a 10-15 watt RMS amp, which will certainly disturb the neighbours, but you will get significant distortion if you crank it up. I can get a clean sound from it at roughly the same subjective volume as a much smaller (but much more expensive) 5 watt amp and, though it will certainly get louder than the smaller amp, the sound quality notably suffers. Mid tones stay clean, but the top and bottom are pretty rubbish at higher volumes.
