My son has been using this case all school year and it has held up very well. He has a Yamaha. He has beat up several different cases over the years so I’m glad this one worked out. The blue makes it easy to find too.

I love this case for my instrument…this case is lightweight but durable….was worth the cost or even more, no more lugging my instrument in a heavy wooden and leather case….I found this exact case on another site for much much more and in a retail store same….thanx Amazon for offering the best price.

This case is absolutely gorgeous. I got the blue, which has just a hint of sparkle and depth. It’s solid, smooth, and has enough padding that I feel like my horn is completely safe. The only downside whatsoever – and honestly I don’t really consider this a downside – is it there isn’t a huge amount of storage space for other items inside. For example, my mouthpiece and oil and grease and Berp attachment fit, but my mute does not. I also love that it has backpack straps, and once I am going back and forth to rehearsals again I’m going to be very thankful for them. I also have a brand new horn, and it’s pretty great to have a case that’s almost as beautiful as the horn itself. Highly recommend!

This case is surprisingly small. It fits easily into a Chevy Spark. It’s light weight for a hardshell case. It offers serious protection while being not much heavier than a foam gig bag.
And, it’s pretty. The shiny blue exterior isn’t gaudy, but the case can easily be found from among a heap of ordinary black cases.

The euphonium case is well padded inside, but unfortunately has no place to store oil or other small bits. There is a spot to put a mouthpiece, but when you use a mouthpiece cover. After 18 months the case began to bow out under the main handle, when you carry it, from the weight of the euphonium. This required addition of a luggage strap to stop the bowing. I gave it 3 stars because it looks great in red and, other than the bowing, has held up well in daily use. A lighter horn may not have the bowing issue. I use if for a Jupiter XO euphonium.

We have a Holton H277 and this case is amazing!! It fits snug with no movement. The backpack straps are really thick and super nice. Our son decided not to use them but the case is small and easy to carry with the leather handle. I would defanity recommend this case to anyone that has a detachable double french horn and is looking for a super nice case to protect your investment.

The fit is very tight for my Conn 8D horn. (The two case halves bulge slightly around the latches.) The shoulder straps can be configured to wear backpack style. When I adjusted them, the additional strap length pulled out too easily. (I added some hook and loop material below the buckles to keep the excess strap length from moving.) When you take the case off your back, the case is oriented awkwardly, and I’m afraid it will slip, hitting something and cracking. I plan to change the strap to the shoulder position. I hope it will make it easier to take the case off without causing damage.
The materials are lightweight. (The first case I received came out of the box cracked on the edges.) Hoping this replacement case holds up. The blue color is beautiful. Nice sparkly blue, like a new car! Will give updates as the case is used more.

We bought this case because it had backpack straps which makes it easier for my daughter to transport her French horn to and from school. It fits her Holton horn nicely but the locks on the first case didn’t work so we requested a swap. Second arrived with the same problem and with the case with a huge gouged.
The locks either don’t turn all the way or just spin and spin and don’t actually lock. For the price it’s very frustrating as we have always used the locks on her cases because kids at her school like to walk by and throw the latches. I would have been happy to pay an additional few dollars on an already expensive case for them to use a decent lock because these are completely garbage. Other than that it’s a nice light weight case and a good design.
