Product arrived within 4 days of order. Not a simple assembly but maybe took 1 hour and everything fit together well. Not super challenging. Looks so cute and is a gift for my mother in law so she can enjoy her outside living space longer into the cold seasons. She was thrilled with how it looks and that she will have a cute heat source. 5 stars
the day the fireplace arrived the price online was reduced by$50. i reached out to customer service and was helped with a credit. Good customer service Amazon!!

Other reviews say this was difficult to assemble.
It took me 45 min or less. All parts fit perfectly and the directions are very complete with illustrations. I would say the build quality is “ok” the base should have been cast instead of very flimsy sheet mettle. I will end up reinforcing it (you probably don’t have to do this and don’t let that comment stop you from buying)
It does heat very well! Better than the fire pit table. Heat is deflected horizontally and you can feel it even on low.
For the price it’s worth it.
A nice trick… I put a small fan behind the fireplace.. about the night of the Cuisinart logo.. it’s running on low speed. This pushes the hot air laterally.. I can run the fire very low and get great heating results!

I have assembled many, many items throughout my life and this was, by far, the most difficult item to put together. The pieces didn’t quite fit right and there had to be adjustments made.
It puts out a lovely flame and warms quite nicely; however, I wouldn’t purchase another one.

Several reviews talk about this being difficult to assemble. I figured I’ve only got to do it once, how bad can it be?
For me, assembly was fairly easy. Probably 40 minutes altogether. The instructions are decent, not as good as you’d like, but it’s doable without too much stress or profanity along the way.
It gets nice and hot, looks cute, and doesn’t take up too much space.
Also a great height for use with standard Adirondack chairs.

I was actually going to send this back because of how many pieces it came in and how more expensive it was than some of the others, but I’m so glad I didn’t! It only took me about an hour to put together and I’m a 57 year old smallish woman. Everything fit together easily. My husband did help me put the back panels on at the end because another set of hands was helpful at that point. We love the fire pit! It puts out so much more heat than other square table type pits I’ve been around. I love the look of it was well! It’s also a good size! can’t wait to enjoy our porch a little longer into the early winter. This is just what we needed! Now I’m going to buy the cover.

I wanted a heater for our porch that we could sit in front of and feel the heat and this one fits the bill. All the others I’ve seen just produce heat above the flame … this one is like an indoor fireplace. It is beautifully made and designed. It has a rich look like the big ones at a ski resort. The lava rock heats up and produces a blue flame plus contains a lot of heat to help radiat the warmth outward. I think this unit would be great indoors as well maybe even better since the heat that escapes upward would warm the room. The assembly was pretty straight forward but the final stages were not easy to be sure. It took my son’s help to hold pieces together while I attached screws. At the end only one screw and nut were missing …. I had one so no problem. If there was a 6 star system of review … I’d give it 6!

Product arrived. Had my handyman come assemble it and it appeared to have been a once returned item. Screws/bolts loose in the box and some missing, and crossbar bent. Luckily my handyman had extra bolts and was able to adjust the bent crossbar. Thought about just returning it but the trouble…

It looks like a great fire pit, but I cannot assemble it due to missing parts. Contacted Amazon and was directed to Cuisinart Customer Care, they refuse to expedite shipping on the missing parts. From customer care: “We do not overnight or expedite parts sorry for the inconvenience. We do ask that you allow 7-10 days for your part(s) to arrive and that includes 72 hours for the order to be processed. We truly do apologize for the inconvenience, but we do appreciate your understanding at this time.” Thumbs Down!!
