The thing is great. Seems sturdy built instead of flimsy plastic. The plug even has a little curve in it so you don’t cover up another outlet. Really worth it, please buy.
My only beef with it is the location of the power switch. I went to move it the other day, grabbed two corners and felt a *click*. My gaming computer went dark and I almost cried. Luckily, everything was fine. All I’m saying is that it could be in a better place.

CyberPower seems to have a knack for offering products that are just different enough to get my attention. There are an untold number of power strips out there that look about the same as this one, but CyberPower gave it a little twist by including 900 Joule surge protection. Perhaps not robust enough for the most expensive equipment, but about average for surge protectors in this price range – AND it’s a proper power strip as well.
The outlets look like standard duplex outlets, which means they are spaced somewhat wider than most surge protectors, and that leaves more room for power bricks (the bane of modern man). I would say that the outlets also have the preferred orientation, or at least, it seems to me that most power bricks seem to be moving in the direction of what one might call a horizontal orientation, such that two could be plugged in right next to each other in a standard duplex outlet…which again, is the kind of outlets that this power strip has.
The case is a silver-gray finished steel, and there are keyhole mounting point on the back (bottom?) of the strip, making it great for surface mounting The power cord is pretty nice…more flexible than most. There is not light in the switch, and I suppose that one can take that as a benefit or not, but personally, I like it. Those neon-lit power switches always die a flickery death anyway.
I like the sturdy build quality, I like the color, and I like the outlet orientation and spacing. I know it’s from China, but an old-school American sentiment is there, nonetheless. Nice job CyberPower.

This item is attached to the back of my media furniture, which is moved occasionally for dusting, etc. I now have only two wires to worry about (coax + power bar). The bar is somewhat larger than what I was expecting, but this is not a problem. Both status lights function. The cord length is perfect for my needs, and the offset plug allows me to use the other wall outlet. Installation screws and template not supplied, but this was not a handicap. Quite satisfied.

So far so good. I installed it just last night and it is pretty nice to have a more organized layout for my wires and devices. You have to kind of wiggle the plugs in at a certain angle to have it completely plugged but we will see how it works when we get out Xbox up and running again (I think one of the reasons my power brick failed was because there was too many devices on demanding too much power and the original outlet couldn’t handle it.)

lightweight, long right-angled cord, plenty of spacing for “wall-warts”, decent (entry-level) protection, what’s not to like?
Great product from a company the seems to increase their quality year by year.

This review is as of 09/15/16, I purchased 08/04/16, so I have had it long enough for this review.
It works and has worked since arrived from Amazon. I need the additional footage from an outlet
and for a long run up to my TV mounted on the wall. It is rated for 1500 Joules
which is more than enough to protect my TV. Use good common since when using any surge
protect, meaning don’t overload them. If you have an electrical/lightning storm ie: lightning, I always turn
electronics off.

It is a power strip and surge protector. I needed a replacement after my daughter knocked over a cup of coffee that I put in the wrong place. This fit the bill, nice long cord, 8 outlets, it works, and I like the outlet covers.

Everything about this is good. There’s slots on the back dedicated for hanging it on the wall with screws or nails, and it feels very solid for its price point. The only small downside is that the button for on/off is extremely wobbly, but this is a great surge protector for its price.
Frankie –
Best investment of all time. It works as intended and protects all my expensive electronics

I purchased this to be put under a bed for a mechanical bed. The surge protector has a bright green light that shines on it when it is plugged in. I couldn’t find a way to turn it off. I would have like the item if I could turn off the light.
