Fits behind dressers and such and allows the plugs to rotate so the furniture cant rest closer to the wall. Ideal for behind a nightstand.

I got this to replace the usual six-receptacle adapter which decided to try to arc weld itself the other day. This six-outlet surge protector seemed just the ticket. In many ways it works well, but for my use, the fact that it changes the orientation of all the outlets from vertical to horizontal means that some of my wires are facing the wrong direction. I wish it had left one side vertical and changed one to horizontal.
We managed to get everything plugged in, but really had to twist some of the wires, and some are left protruding out into the room further than we would like, because we use this on the wall above our kitchen counter for plugging in appliances. I do like that you can rotate the outlets to the side. That’s a nice touch. That helps with one of my electrical cords.
This adapter is not made to attach to the receptacle. Rather than having a screw to attach it, there’s just a plastic nub. This is both good and bad. Good, because you can remove it quickly should it catch fire (hopefully it won’t) and bad, because this means this surge protector can easily come loose from the receptacle if you’re messing with your electrical cables.
Oh, well, this is probably the best I’ll find until someone invents something new. I want one that rotates any way you want and is sturdy enough not to burn my house down.
Decently pleased with this outlet, while wishing the design was a bit different. Your mileage will vary according to the orientation of the plugs on your electrical cords.

Fantastic! I love this power outlet.
High marks for:
– surge protection
– grounding line (third pin)
– USB ports, C and A
– high quality materials and construction
– best of all, swiveling banks. I love that I can put this snugly behind my furniture without plugs protruding out excessively. The swivel also allows me to configure space so that all of my plugs, even the bulky ones can fit without taking over the whole bank and blocking some of the ports. My computer, printer, monitor and desk lamp are all streamlined behind my filing cabinet now.
Neat, tidy, organized; well equipped and versatile; safe.
This is a great investment to protect your valuable electronics.

Perfection. The only one of its kind I could find. Bought 7

I have been using the CyberPower 6-Outlet device at my work for several
weeks and it performs its power duties as specified.
The power outlets are used for a MacBook Pro power brick and to power a
five port USB hub, plus a 4-AAA rechargeable battery charger. I also use
the USB-A port to recharge an Apple Watch. There have been no
power-related issues since I’ve started using this device. The Protected
and Grounded LEDs have been consistently lit. Our building has clean
power so there have been no power outages or surges that I can detect so
I can’t comment on the surge protection capabilities of this device.
The device features two pivoting sections for the outlets themselves and
they pivot easily. I have no reason to use the outlets in any position
other than flush with the rest of the device.
The enclosed owners manual/spec sheet is complete and has a nice
troubleshooting section as well as full contact information for
technical support (phone, email, postal address and hours of operation).
It’s nice that the sheet is written in an easily readable and
sufficiently sized font, which seems to be unusual for electronic
devices these days.
This appears to be a solidly built device and has provided satisfactory
service, which is all that you can expect out of a power strip.

The opening, for the sockets feels too tight/snug. It feels like I have to force the plugs in to the eyelet. Other than that I like the concept.

I like the size and i can plug my cell for charging
Man in the Middle –
On arrival, my wife immediately claimed this for her living room reading corner, which previously had a Kensington 6 over-sized outlet power strip to hold all the needed chargers for her personal electronics. As hoped, this immediately replaced all of that, including eliminating two USB power bricks, one each for USB 3 and USB C 3.1, in addition to 6 regular AC outlets. The result is tidy and compact in appearance, all white, including all the cords we plugged into it, making it visually disappear from view against the off-white wall.
We also love that each block of 3 outlets can rotate 90 degrees, to hold cords either parallel to or perpendicular to the wall outlet. That it also functions as a surge suppressor is a valuable extra feature to us. It could only be improved by adding spacing between each of the 3 AC outlets on each side, but we now also have short 1 foot grounded extension cords for such situations, if ever needed.
We already use only CyberPower UPSes for our computers, and have been extremely pleased with how well those work, and how long they can go without needing a new battery, so are expecting equal life and quality from this outlet adapter.
Definitely recommended.
Update 10/15/19: My wife likes this well enough that we just ordered another, at our own expense.
