Fluid Pressure unit worked fine.
Although.., the Master Cylinder Adapter Cap for my 2006 GMC 3500 truck broke while trying to turn the cap to get a seal. (That is why the rating of 3 stars) I could not get a replacement fluid master cylinder cap adapter, as there were none available. So. I bought a competitors Master Cylinder Adapter and swapped the connector fitting. Worked fine.

The fitting for the brake fluid reservoir would not seal. It has an inner and outer ring – the inner ring has no gasket so, by design, it will not seal at all. The outer ring gasket is the wrong shape and does not fit correctly. Wasted 2 hours trying to get this piece of junk to work correctly.

This is a great tool. I have a Volkswagen van and was able to purge the old fluid with new by myself and it works great holds pressure and was very easy to use. Just remember to release the pressure before you disconnect from the reservoir.

The pump holds pressure BUT the caps would leak pressure, therefore, making this totally useless as a “one man brake bleeder”.
Also the handle is cheaply made, broke off into pieces.

I have a 2010 Toyota Sienna and it needed a brake fluid change, the dealer quoted me $200 and I didn’t think it was worth it so I bought this brake bleeder kit to change the brake fluid myself. It was the best experience ever. It works great with the Honda cap. When bleeding, I just dry use it to provide pressure to the system instead of adding brake fluid directly. After pressurizing the system to 10psi, I was able to bleed each wheel twice before removing the cap and adding more brake fluid. Pressurize again at the next wheel. Due to the force of the air, you can see all the air coming out of the system. Very easy to use and it works the first time. Recommended for anyone doing their own brake repair. Simply purchase the proper cap for your vehicle.
