Stripping the odd wire or two with stripper pliers is easy. However getting consistent stripping lengths on larger wiring projects can be tedious and challenging. This DUTEGAO wire stripper kit makes short work of those jobs – stripping wires and joining them.
The kit includes four stripping heads in the most common AWG sizes (14AWG, 12AWG, 10AWG, 8AWG), a connecting rod drill bit, wire twister drill bit, and an allen wrench for removing the razor blade to facilitate cleaning of the stripping heads. And all of the kit components come in a padded storage box. Some limited instructions are included in the box – additional instructions are provided on the item page at Amazon.
The listing states the stripping length can be adjusted from 10mm to 40mm, but the actual longest length is 38mm (see image). Once the length is set, you can quickly strip multiple wires at the exact same length.
One of my reasons for selecting this kit over other similar kits is the statement on the listing that the stripper heads are calibrated for US AWG wiring. A number of other sets are calibrated for metric gauged wiring which can be slightly different than US wire and the difference can end up delivering subpar results.

This wire stripping tool is a great option if you’ve got lots of wires to strip. I’m not an electrician, so I can’t speak to how well they hold up with daily use, but they absolutely fit my needs of replacing a few switches here and there. Here’s what I like about them
* Different size for common gauge wires
* They come with a nice carrying case / toolbox
* The stripping length is adjustable
* They include a twisting/wire nut installation tool
The only thing I’m not certain about here is the value, so I’d encourage you to look around at other listings and see if these are justified!

I had no idea how useful this would be until I had it. It works, just like shown. Just as easily as shown. I really like it. I had no problems using it. I really like this for my thicker wire things. So easy.

It’s nice when something finally works as advertised and for this wire stripping tool it does just that. Wire stripping was quick, easy and flawless and then the twisting took gave me a nice tight twist ready for the wire cap.

I used it after watching a small video.the cutting pieces don’t always cut well.i cut about 5 good wires out of 25.it won’t even strip anymore.not sure if it’s dull but it shouldn’t be after only doing/attempting to do,a dozen wires.next was the wire twister.the video shows them putting in the 2 wires fully and pull trigger and it’s completely twisted on tight and about 8 to 10 twists.i did it and it barely curled the wires around each other.not enough to walk away from.had to finish twisting by hand.i didn’t even waste my time putting the wire nut bit in.it wasn’t the cheapest and not the most expensive.i wouldn’t waste ur money unless you observed the brand working properly and also watched for its durability.do the blades wear out in 10 wires?I won’t buy another one.the hand held automatic strippers by Klein or craftsman would be a much better investment.very disappointed.
