I’m very impressed with this mouthpiece for the price. I have a few Bach branded mouthpieces, in 7C and 5C, none of which have the bullet shape. I ordered the 3C to see how it felt, and to try a new brand out. I’m certainly impressed, especially with how higher notes seemed a bit easier to achieve. After going a bit without playing I put out high C with relative ease, which surprised me. The overall design is aesthetically pleasing, and the the vacuum sealed plastic is a nice touch in terms of how it’s cared for. It’s definitely a bit tough to give an accurate description of the feel on the lips, but it feels a bit wider on the lips, which is expected. Overall this is a solid mouthpiece.

  3. Color named pink but it’s actually a purple-ish color. It’s sparkly and looks nice. Would have been perfect if it had been the advertised color.

Just as described, worked well. Good quality.

Note: I have not tested this over a long time period. This is just my initial thoughts. Also I am not a professional horn player. I am a low time player.
This mouthpiece seems to be very well made. Heavy. Sealed air tight on arrival.
I tried the mouthpiece out on my Jean Paul TR-430 [Intermediate level] trumpet. My trumpet has been reworked in the US and plays very well.
This mouthpiece worked well immediately. I had no problem getting immediate play, with good sounds. It is a warm summer day so I needed no horn warm-up.

All in all I like this. I had never heard of Eastrock mouthpieces before and just wanted to give them a try. I got a standard 7C and a 1.5C. Both play well.

I’m a band teacher, but I’m not a mouthpiece “snob”, and I don’t spend a lot of time trying to find just the right mouthpiece. Once I found the right trombone mouthpiece for me 30 years ago, I haven’t changed. With that said, I’ve been looking for an excuse to go for a larger trumpet mouthpiece for the trumpet I use when I play along with my students at school.

Most student model trumpets come with a 7c mouthpiece, which is really too small for most students once they’ve developed their embouchure at all. I typically recommend a 3c (smaller number is bigger–makes perfect sense!) as a good all-around mouthpiece for my high school students.

With this mouthpiece, I really liked the very smooth finish, and the plating looked very even. There was a nice rounded inner edge to the mouthpiece cup, which (for me), made it much more comfortable than the B*ch 7c that I’ve been using on my school trumpet. I felt like it opened up my sound a bit more and gave me a little more room to let my lips vibrate, which is ultimately how a brass instrument works. Given the reasonable price, this is a good starting place to start experimenting with different mouthpiece sizes to see what works best for you.

Good mouthpiece, now im not an expert player by any means, but it responds well and I actually like the heavier weight. Not sure how i like this one compared to the 4c but it will take some mort practice to adjust.

Size wise, this mouthpiece feels like my Bach 5C, but for me, the inside rim bite feels a little “sharp.” Remember that mouthpiece feel is very personal, and this mouthpiece may be just right for someone. It appears to be well made, and the silver plate is bright and consistent.

We needed a new mouthpiece for our daughters trumpet. This works perfectly. It sounds great and looks amazing. It’s different than her classmates mouthpiece so hopefully it won’t get mistaken for someone else’s.
