Ho aspettato un po’ per fare questa recensione e provare questa tromba.
Me l’ aspettavo diversa, è arrivata con i tappi dei pistoni senza zigrinatura, sono rimasto un po’ perplesso all’ inizio, ma a dire la verità adesso mi piacciono più così.
I pistoni si muovevano a fatica, erano sporchi di sostanza nera, ho provveduto alla pulizia e lubrificazione, ma dopo un po’ si è ripresentato il problema. Dopo un paio di pulizie si è risolto, adesso la meccanica cammina normalmente e le valvole dell’ acqua funzionano perfettamente.
La voce è chiara e squillante, mi piace molto, sto usando un bocchino gewa 1-1/2C , e la tromba si sente molto corposa.
Unica cosa che raccomando è di non lasciare nella tromba gocce nella campana quando si ripone, perchè la nichelatura non sembra molto resistente e si può rovinare.
Comunque per la cifra spesa, è una bellissima tromba.

I was a little nervous buying this horn for around $200 only. I knew it might not sound good or be difficult for my new student to play. I was amazed at the quality, the sound and ease of playing. Upper and lower range were good and the valves are amazing, better than my $3k pro trumpet. It came oiled and lubed lightly but I would recommend oiling the valves and adding a little slide grease before using the valves or slides as some users have reported sticking immediately. Superb value and the black nickel with engraving is so rarely seen these days.
Update: After having played it a few times now, I can say it slots well, and is working fine for my new beginning trumpet student. Also the sound is a bit on the brighter side. Recently we had one of the valves stick and upon further examination a small metal fleck was stuck in the 2nd valve. Very strange but after we removed it the quick action was restored in the valves.

Seller is great. Trumpet shipped very fast. Trumpet is very nice, albeit a bit lighter than I’m used to. Not by much though and that said the trumpet doesn’t have a “cheap” feel to it. My biggest gripe with the instrument is that the valve covers on top are completely smooth outside. This is a huge product flaw. The first time it gets stuck on, there’s no grip to get leverage to spin the cap off to service the valves. It would require a pair of vice grips or pliers to take them off which would surely damage the cap and possibly the valves shape which would render the trumpet broken and useless. For the price point, this is a good instrument for a returning player who understands the pitfalls this trumpet presents and not a beginner who doesn’t. We complimented this purchase with a better 3C mouthpiece, matching silver straight mute, matching silver lyre music holder and cleaning kit all purchased separately. We had some issue getting the valves piled and seated appropriately prior to playing. It was not playable out of the box.. I almost returned it- but picked it back up and got it figured out. Again, for less than $200 this is a great instrument for a returning part time instrumentalist but I can’t reccomend this trumpet to be played/used consistently over time. I just don’t see it lasting without meticulous handling and cleaning – which a student won’t understand yet. Also bear in mind that there are no finger guard inlays on the keys like most trumpets. It is a smooth polished metal surface. Not a deal breaker but contributes to the “cheap” feel.
I would purchase again but under the correct conditions. I purchased for my son who is in his 3rd year playing in school band. We will see how long it lasts this time, but I probably wouldn’t purchase this again for a student- I’d spend a little more for one with ribbed valve covers and pearl finger guards which is sure to add a longer lifespan to any trumpet.

I am so tickled with this trumpet. I haven’t had a new horn in 40 years and decided to buy a new one. I was hesitant to spend the money, but it’s worth every penny. The trumpet itself is beautiful with the gold and rose gold accents. It plays very easy, enabling me to hit a high C with little effort. I would highly recommend this trumpet to anyone, and a couple of my friends are already talking about buying one also. A+.

I tried an earlier version of this trumpet back in 2020 i later Donated it when I purchased another brand but I began to miss the older horn so I decided to replace it and Eastrock has made great improvements since then the valves are much more flexible and they still need to be oiled regularly and the sound of this particular horn is warmer and with a variety of mouthpieces I now have that I didn’t have before this horn has an even better tone your mileage may vary of course I’ve been using this horn for 3 weeks and I have no complaints so far a great Re addition to my collection of horns at this price there is no need to spend an outrageous amount of money on a fancy instrument ( the $500 to $1.000+range comes to mind) As I am an intermediate player I recommend this trumpet for anyone who’s either starting out or returning to playing after a long absence either way this will get you started. Or if you want a fun horn to play with in addition to your regular instrument this also will serve your purpose well.”Happy Playing” UPDATE 1-12-24 I have had such great results with my Gold Eastrock horn I decided to order a Silver Plated Trumpet I received it earlier today and it sounds and functions equally as Good however just slightly brighter as it is Silver plated I recommend the silver trumpet as well as the Gold brass with the copper Leadpipe to me it’s a good Eastrock pair
