Anthony Rojek –
I like that it really fits snugly in the bell of the horn
Daniel Rieder –
My grandson plays the trombone and it can be pretty loud in the house. This keeps the volume down and sounds good.
S B –
My stepson plays trombone. I should be like, yay music! But there are some instruments that just aren’t fun to hear kids practice – violin, accordion, clarinet, recorder, and trombone, to name a few. Enter the trombone mute. The mute is made out of metal and reduces sound greatly. I thought the metal would make it reverb, but that’s not the case. It’s a little hard to get to stay in at first, but once the cork attachments molds to your trombone it’s all good. I don’t want to discourage his musical talent, but for my own sanity, a little mute is not a bad thing.
Mary Tanner –
Our granddaughter was delighted with this mute for her trombone. Very good quality.
Shene –
It does exactly what you want it to do.
Lacy –
Light weight. Easy mount, stable.

This trombone mute fits my horn beautifully and sounds good, even below low Bb. I consider it a mute, not necessarily a practice mute. It definitely cuts volume, but I still think my neighbors can hear me practice. I have had other practice mutes which controlled volume better.
