I’ve had it for a few months and used it for some personal practice and band rehearsal sessions. I honestly can’t find much to complain about here. It clips on easily, it comes with 2 watch-style batteries(but only needs 1 to work), and it can tune any instrument. The tuning is responsive, and the digital display is accurate as far as I can tell. The coloring on the display lets you know if your sound is leaning more sharp or flat as well, which is nice.
Another small but useful feature I noticed is that pressing the power button doesn’t immediately turn the device on. You have to hold it for about 2 seconds before it will power on. This is a good thing to me, because that means if it knocks up against something in my case then it won’t turn on and waste battery life when i’m not using it.
So long as this thing stands the test of time, which I assume it will since the only time I take it out of my case is to tune with it, then I’m happy with this little guy. It fulfills the job of getting ready to go and in tune a lot easier, and helps me dial in my gear when I switch things up.

The supplier has bluffed about the size The actual size is very small.

I lost my first Eno tuner and felt lost myself without it because its very useful for Eb tuning for my Alto Saxophone and had improved my tone by showing me when I was flat. I was thrilled when the second one arrived but not long after I would be playing and I noticed that the notes were not registering, I would turn the tuner off and sometimes it would start to register again and other times I had to take the battery out. Its good for short term use but I have to admit that I am now disappointed in its inconsistent operation.
Updated June 1: I returned the “bad” tuner and the replacement which was sent has performed beautifully It does everything i want to now. However, I need to warn regarding quality control and for that reasons I have deducted 1 star.

Works well

This worked well for my alto saxophone and super easy to use. I recommend this.

I got this to tune my Baritone sax. I always had trouble trying to use the app on my phone, and trying to get bandmates to be quite is… challenging. 🙂 I just clip this on the neck of my sax and am able to tune easily and with no outside interference. I usually use the “clip” mode as that read the vbrations. I’m sure I could use this for my guitar as well, but have not tried it yet. An inexpensive and elegant solution to playing in tune.

I bought this ‘ENO MUSIC Stable Quality Big LCD Display Easy to Read Auto Clip-on Acoustic Electric Guitar Tuner’ for my ukulele and I am not happy with it.
Straight out of the box it came with two batteries, one of which was in a tiny ziploc baggie (no other packaging) while the other was in a blister pack. The battery that came in the bag was dead. It had just enough juice to turn on for a moment and then it died. It seems like this was maybe a returned item and they never replaced the used battery. That’s just speculation of course.
The tuning capability is mixed for me. I had no problem tuning some notes but others would not tune right at all. I had it set at the correct settings but getting my G and C strings tuned was a lengthy chore and I’m still not thrilled with the result because it seems it kind of slipped into the right notes on its own at random after my manual tuning failed. All of a sudden something just clicked into place and I don’t know what happened; whether it was a lucky break for me or the tuner just suddenly started working.
I also hated the mic on this thing. I had to pluck the daylights out of the strings just to get the mic to pick up the sound at all.
Very random results to lots of tweaking and messing around with this thing. Not a happy customer!

This tuner is a must have.I played alto sax in my twenties.I am now 71 and I bought a tenor sax. I bought this tuner after after I did my research and I always look at the reviews. I wasn’t getting anywhere until I set the tuner to my tenor .All I can say is wow this takes the guess work out while playing so easy. Some of the reviews where negative I have no idea why. I can’t speak for everyone but take a chance especially with setting up and playing a TENOR sax worth the money….Bob…..Ontario, Canada

This is really a great tuner. I have an Eb Alto sax. You just set the mode to Eb and it is very acurate with out having to do any math like you have to do with a piano set tuner. The only thing that I have not figured out is how to see the tuner once you clip it to the bell. You have to do it in a mirror. I just sit it on the table where I am practicing and it picks it up just fine.

This tuner works well and has the ability to be transposed for Bb and Eb instruments, which is great! It’s much larger than I expected it to be… If you know the Snark tuners, this one is about 10% larger, which is ok I guess, if you have trouble seeing or something. Overall, pretty good for the price – especially if you compare it to the Korg transposing tuners, which all start around $50

Nothing complicated. Works as advertised. Easy to use.
