Bad 4th string. buzzes like crazy on the nut. Replaced string with same gauge different brand and have no buzz on the nut. Disappointed otherwise it would have been a great tone and feel

Nice flats but don’t buy these if you are trying to string a Fender Mustang with a through body, these are slightly too short despite what one of the answers said

I don’t know why I waited so long to try these. Much better than the factory fender strings my bass came with. Silky feels and punchy yet mellow tones. It will be interesting to see how they age.

If you have a short scale bass guitar, give these strings a look. I’ve always liked flats, especially those that are stainless steel. Stainless strings in themselves sound a bit different than standard electric bass strings, which I prefer. But flats offer an added bonus of reduced string noise, another bonus. I’ve found stainless strings also last longer due to both reduced corrosion and having less spaces for dead skin and hand oils to accumulate.

These are nice strings and I’ll probably replace them with the same when these need replacing.

I put these onto my Ibanez bass and like what I am hearing so far from the flat strings. They were easy to install and tune. They also seem to stay in tune better and longer than other strings I have used in the past, at least initially.

Replaced round wound with these flat wounds on my short scale bass, really smooth and pain free!
