I’m still a beginner but I was able to unbox, tune and play this 12 string very quickly. I read that tuning these can be a pain but I had no problems with it and it sounds absolutely amazing to me I really love it.

This is my 3rd Fender in my collection. I originally played a Les Paul Jr in the 60s. I loved that one, the stratocaster is my choice now. The other is a 3/4 Fender Acoustic guitar, nylon strings. Great practice one for me.
The CD 60 is farthest in the photo, the built in tuner works great. After initial tuning, the guitar stayed tuned first couple days. Seems to have a good setup, the tonal quality is excellent and with amp really nice. Kinda warm, not twangy.

Wow, UPS just delivered my $349 Fender CD-60SCE-12 Dreadnought 12 string guitar two days early and the box is designed so well that the guitar (with no case), arrived on Maui, HI perfect !! I put my strong Kyser 12 string capo on the second fret because I tune down my guitar to make it play easier. I opened Youtube and typed in, Tune Your 12 String Guitar [Easy Way], this will make sure you are on all of the correct octaves in E tune and will not break any strings tuning. Just tune the guitar with the capo on it. I can’t believe how nice this guitar plays for the price, I love it !! I am very happy with all of the hardware and craftsmanship and finish. I put the battery in and plugged it in to the amp. Really clean and clear sounds and then added some effects. I don’t turn up my treble to much when I plugged in a 12 — this clears any string buzz.
So I hope you can tell how happy I am with this purchase !! Awesome 12 string production from Fender.

La guitarra venÃa bien protegida en su caja original, tiene un hermoso sonido y el color es impresionante, las fotos no le alcanzan a hacer justicia.

I started to give this guitar 3 then I moved it up to four once I plugged it in. It definitely sounded better through the amp than it did without it. I just got it a few hours ago, and when I was tuning it up one of the tuning pegs slipped already. Once I started playing it, I was disappointed in the initial sound. Once I plugged it into my amp it sounded much better to me. To be honest I wouldn’t recommend this to an experienced player . I’m thinking about returning it already and spending an extra 300 and getting something that sounds better. I bought it because it was a fender and figured I couldn’t go wrong. But as I say you get what you pay for. I just wanted a 12 string because I haven’t had one in 50 years. I have several guitars all six string. Anyway, I’m gonna play for awhile and see if my opinion changes 🙂 i’ve had the guitar for a month now. It’s still not the greatest 12 string I’ve played, but I’ve gotten used to it. I’ve got a new set of strings to put on it which should help. I’ve had no more problems with the tuning pegs. They seem to be working fine. The main thing is the neck and headstock are so much heavier than the body. You cannot put a strap on the pegs that are on the guitar or the neck just hangs down. I put a strap on it that attaches to the neck of the guitar and has alleviated some of the weight problem. I actually thought about putting a lead weight in the back end of the guitar to even it out. But as far as the sound, It definitely sounds better through my 50 watt fender . I still wouldn’t recommend it for your first 12 string. Spend the extra money. I blame myself for some of this because I ordered it online when I should’ve checked it out at the guitar store first. Had I known about the weight difference I wouldn’t have bought it. 🙂 but for the time being, I’m happy to have it. Next year I’ll buy a new Guild 12 string. Or hope to. I have nothing against fender, but this is a bad design. I own a fender jazzmaster, and enjoy it very much. And I just bought a new fender amplifier. Next month, god’s willing, I’ll be buying a Stratocaster. And I’d love to have a fender jaguar. I said all this, just to say, I really like Fender, but I do not like this particular guitar.

First time playing a12 string guitar. This Fender model is flawless. Was not expecting such an awesome sound for the price. I tuned it to a D standard tuning and wow! Feels and sounds amazing. I’m so glad I did not spend thousands of dollars. Fisherman tuner made tuning easy and ready to play quickly. Wow, wow, and wow!

This guitar arrived in an opened box. The top is made of TWO DIFFERENT SHADED OF WOOD.
This could be a beautiful guitar except for the POOR WOOD FINISH.
Keep in mind the seller charges a $74.00 re stocking fee.
Disappointed 😥
Michael Amaro –
Great guitar all around. The only complaint i have is the frets are so small. Took some getting used to, but plays awesome. Needed a bit of oil on the fretboard. Was pretty dry.
