These should be the standard strings that come on a Bass VI so Fender/Squier made the first mistake of not making these the common string, don’t make the same mistake!
Great string gauges with the lowest E (in tone, actually the highest on the fretboard) 1.00 for a great thumpin bottom! Great price as well!

These are the strings I’ve used on my electrics for years. Don’t think I’ve had any problems with them over the years. Great strings that last a fairly long time. Since I got the strings I will have no excuse not to change them. It’s not hard, but I’d rather almost take a beating than change strings. But it sounds so much better when they are done.

I just bought the 3-pack of these strings for use on my Tele and Strat. They feel great, sound great, and have the colored ball ends for easy restringing (they are made by D’Addario for Fender). They’re also less expensive that Ernie Ball, Stringjoy & other brands. Can’t recommend them enough!

wasn’t sure about checking gauge before purchase. put them on a low action ibanez acoustic/electric and sound and play good. a bit tinny on the ring, but nice and crisp nonetheless. bought 2 sets more and just strung up my strat body electric with tremolo, and they sound good as well. maybe next time i will consider a heavier gauge, but for now my fingertips are loving it.

I have always liked these strings. I use them on all my electric guitars, and while I occasionally try other strings, I always end up coming back to these. They have a clear, crisp, retro-style sound, perfect for blues and rock. They’re durable, they stay in tune, and they feel great. And the price is very reasonable. As an added point, I use them on my acoustic guitars as well.

Tone: These strings sound just as good as the ernie balls and d’addario strings I have on my other guitars. They’re bright sounding since they’re .09s but they still have a quality sound. 4/5
Feel: They feel smooth and nice to bend. Being .09s they bend easily without much force. 4/5
Durability/Longevity: They are about equal to most other .09s and don’t break easily, even if you end up having to tune them up and down a bunch, just remember to wipe them down to stop them from oxidizing since they arent coated. 3.5/5
Price: They’re 5 bucks (sometimes less if they’re on sale) 5/5
