Heater keeps my 32’x12′ shop nice and warm. Outside temperature 47° F inside temperature 69.7 F.
Required 17 to 18 minutes for comfortable room
temperature. Real test later when outside temperature is in the 30’s. I recommend this unit for Southern USA. Not sure how it would work I Northern USA.
I Won’t be sending this back!

UPDATE: I’ve been using this unit for about 4-5 months now and I have to say it is well worth the money. It produces stunning amounts of heat, while also being incredibly efficient. On average it takes this thing 1-1.5 months to burn through a 15 pound tank (on the lowest setting because that’s all you need)
This unit is absolutely amazing! It provides an insane amount of heat even on the lowest setting and the best part about it, is that it is virtually silent. I havent had it long enough to know how efficient it is with the propane consumption but my overall first impression of this thing it is a very very good deal for what you get for the relatively low cost of the unit. The only downside I’ve found is it’s a little confusing to get started the first time but once you get that down this thing can be used in virtually any setting and absolutely blow your expectations away. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys spending time outside in the cold climates.

We have an RV campsite we enjoy. I enjoy staying outside at night and watching our outside tv under our canopy, but during the spring and fall, it can get pretty cold out. I got this heater to put on top of one of our 20lb propane tanks to keep me warm when outside at night relaxing and watching a movie…boy it works great! It has provided more than enough heat on the low setting and seems to use very little propane while doing so. It fills a catalytic pad with the propane, which lights and provides the heat..work very well. Just to mention the obvious… the metal parts get very hot, so don’t touch or permit anything that can burn accidentally blow on them like side curtain covers from a canopy and such. Once you turn it off, it seems to cool pretty quickly if you want to store it away. This is a great little heater for the outdoors. Do Not Use Inside without plenty of ventilation! Using inside in a confined space, especially without proper ventilation could and will kill you, so be careful. Carbon monoxide will build up when burning a fuel fed heater so be safe. Other than that warning, this heater was a great purchase.

This is awesome to have around when needed

Took a chance on this, and it works fine, BUT it seems and feels somewhat fragile. It kinda awkward to ignite. Using it everyday while I can still return it within 30 days if need be. I hope I’m wrong.

Like:
it works fine.
Dislike:
1, not safe–see review by Kimberly, “Defective Fittings,” Oct 23, 2023. The attachment of the hose to the heater is problematic. If not properly tight, gas will leak out at that connection, erupting in flames, and you can’t easily tell when the attachment is tight enough.
2, the heater is flexible where it ought be rigid.
3, the attachment to the propane tank is poor; it takes a little push and pull to get it aligned properly, and again, you can’t easily tell when the attachment is tight enough.
4, the instructions are not at all right, evidently for a different item. Some instructions are needed, though the unit is simple enough to figure out and use by someone with propane experience..

The heater I got fell apart on 1st attempt to light. The tubing connection to the control valve was not correctly attached on the unit I got. I was able to do a little repair work and got it solidly attached but I expected it to be solid out of the box.
Once the repair was complete, assembly was easy, just a wrench to tighten one gas hose is all that’s needed. It lights easy, just like a pilot light you have to hold down the control knob until it heats up (about 30 seconds or less). It puts out a fair amount of heat and is silent.
It would have been 5 stars if not for the catastrophic failure right out of the box.
