Easy to install, well packaged and sounds perfect. This was for my sons car. I only used Flowmasters on my 1,200 HP Chevelle, but I did not know how they would sound on this Ecoboost 4 cylinder. To my surprise they sound amazing! Well worth it and great quality.

After spending many hours reviewing video clips of exhaust set ups I finally decided to go with the outlaw axle back. Listening to the videos with headphones this one seemed to be the one with the least amount of rasp… knowing the i4 will be raspy the more opened up the exhaust is. I figured I’d leave the resonator put and change axle back. And wow what a night and day difference! The cold start sounds great lots of turbo whistle which is what I was looking for and after the high idle it quiets down but enough to know it’s not stock. While driving it sounds great gets loud north of 4000 rpms with the occasional crackle/pop. And very little to no drone highway cruising add a minimal amount of music and it’s only noticable when you want it to be. Overall very happy just wish I would of pulled the trigger sooner

You will need your OEM exhaust. I took my car to a shop and they had her installed in no time. Initial smell is nothing to worry about. It burns out. It can be a little ricey but overall I am happy with it after stalking the Outlaw for a few months. Recommend getting rid of the OEM resonator because that’s probably what keeps it civil and ricey. I’ll be doing come X-Pipes next and headers.

As for shipping, it came earlier than expected. Installation was a breeze. It took me roughly 30 minutes to install. I only did Axle-Back so I could see how it sounded. I really didnt wanna sound like a import with that horrible fart can sound. I was looking for a deep sound, something you would expect from a mustang. My personal opinion, this is as close as you get with a 4 banger. I’m very happy with the craftsmanship, Installation process and sound. Flowmaster lived up to their name with this setup.

I ordered these for my wife’s 2016 3.7 Mustang, they came with clear instructions and were fairly easy to install. I used a set of oil change ramps to gain clearance and it worked fine but would be easier if you have access to a lift. A reciprocating saw with a new metal cutting blade goes through the stock pipe with ease, just make sure to use a file to clean up the rough edges before installing the new pipes. I’m not a skilled mechanic and I had them on in just over an hour. The sound is better than I expected, I didn’t know you could get that kind of sound out of a V6! It is a little loud inside upon acceleration, but that’s what you want from a Mustang and Flowmaster!

I bought this exhaust along with a Y-pipe and the sound is great on my 2019 mustang ecoboost. I received the package in pretty rough shape and the clamps must have fallen out in transit and the seller shipped me new clamps right away. Highly recommend!
