I installed a few toilets without the tool and it took me twice as long and it was twice as hard just using regular wrenches. The tool made it so much easier to quickly tighten bolts and fittings. It was worth every cent.

Didn’t work at all to remove the fitting under toilet tank to change out inlet unless the toilet is completely flat in that spot this won’t catch the very shallow piece it needs to. Not sure on the other option for removing bolts holding the toilet tank onto toilet bowl. I basically had to break the piece inside toilet tank then use a basin wrench inside tank to twist the interior piece and finally have it release

This tool was a must for saving hundreds to possibly a thousand dollars and replacing both my fill valve, that was on way too tight and could not remove without this and then a couple weeks later had to take entire tank off of toilet and replace flush valve. Could not have done with normal wrench. Side note I dislike home installation people who overtighten things. Rule number one: don’t do it! But this tool made things easy. Replacement parts plus this tool $40-50 vs paying a plumber in this economy was a wise and economical move

This fits nothing properly and it’s cheap plastic and easily breakable.

Need a 7/16th wrench for the toilet tank nuts., This was too big, so I returned it. Seems like it would work well if it fit.

If you are looking for a way to tighten the plastic part under your toilet tank look no further.
I was installing a Bidet and unfortunately turned that plastic nut the wrong way. Then it was impossible to tighten it enough again to seal the tank.
I had another tool made by Ridged but it wouldn’t work for this plastic nut. It works for all other kinds of under sink stuff etc.
I bought this and it worked perfectly to help me finish the job. If you need a tool for that nut under the toilet tank as well as other things buy this.
I would definitely buy it again if I needed it.

This is a great tool in theory but it doesn’t fit the tank bolts on an American Standard Cadet 3 toilet.

The fill valve in a 24-year old toilet failed, and needed to be replaced. Compounding the problem is the toilet was installed by the home builder very close to the left wall, so I didn’t have good access/space to work on the fill valve locknut on the bottom of the left side of the toilet tank. Tried pliers, adjustable pliers, adjustable wrenches.. the issue is the locknut is a bit more than an inch wide, so to use a wrench that works with a nut that wide, the tool I needed to use (like a wrench) would be too long to fit in the cramped area.. I kept banging the tool into the wall when trying to twist the tool to loosen the locknut. So I was stuck and about to call the plumber.
Then I saw this Fluidmaster tool when looking for toilet repair stuff and thought “perfect!” For $10 it was worth a shot. After struggling with the stupid locknut for about an hour yesterday, I ordered this tool yesterday and was thrilled it could be delivered the today.
Tried it and it works great. Has 3 different locknut fittings, and one of them fit on the old fill valve’s locknut. I also found the tool’s built-in ruler on the side very handy when installing the new fill valve, to ensure it was at the right position in the tank. THANK YOU FLUIDMASTER!!!! Now my toilet is working great again. ☺️☺️☺️
