Fromm Salmon A La Veg Dog Food – 26 lb

It’s taking me a long time to find a kibble that I can use to mix with my dog’s soft food that does not upset his stomach. He seems to really like this and has not gotten an upset tummy or refused to eat it as of yet. I mix it with fresh pet from the grocery stores refrigerated aisle for sensitive stomachs and he seems to do very well with this.

I’ve been buying Fromm’s for a number of years now, but this was my first time buying the Whitefish & Potato. I was a little concerned at first because the pieces are in the shape of what looks like shark teeth, and I’ve got 2 Shelties who scarf their food down. I was afraid the triangular shaped pieces might hurt them, but there’s been zero issues. They love it. But the BEST thing about this particular flavor is their stool has no smell and crumbles/powders just like it does when you feed raw. Yesterday we had a heavy rain and the dogs wouldn’t go outside, so they both had accidents while we were sleeping. Normally if that happens, the smell is bad enough to wake you out of a sound sleep. I couldn’t believe it when I got up and smelled nothing. Then when I went to clean it up, it crumbled. Anyone who has fed raw knows exactly what I’m talking about, and if you haven’t fed raw but want to give your dog a higher quality dog food, this one is worth trying. We’ll be sticking with Whitefish & Potato from now on.

My 7 year old australian shepherd is a pretty picky eater. She’s got health issues and is a bit overweight, so she’s really slowed down a lot over the last couple years. Her english bulldog baby brother is a madman and she loves him so much, but never was able to keep up with his antics. Since starting on Fromm food she’s got a LOT more energy, she jumps and plays and barks a LOT more than she used to, she even instigates the gitchu game and chases her brother around now. Makes me so happy! I’ve tried dozens, maybe a hundred different brands of food over the years and somehow never heard of Fromm, but when I saw the reviews and read the ingredients I had a good feeling it was better than the rest. Tiny bites, like puppy food size pieces. She used to always watch her brother eat outside and wait til he got done before she’d start eating, but now she runs to the bowl and scarfs it down without him haha. We tried the beef first and she loved it, got the surf and turf next and she loves that too, they both do. On our third bag now, it’s kind of on the more expensive side, but seeing how much better she feels, I’ll keep buying more. Great product!

My ShihTzu/Havanese mix LOVES it! Pure ingredients and trustworthy, nutritionally balanced. I’ve done my research over the last 20yrs, Always look at THE FIRST 5-7 ingredients.. if they are not whole/natural foods that you yourself wouldn’t (theoretically) eat then it’s junk. Most dog food on the market are primarily carbs, fillers, chemicals, or parts of an animal that wasn’t a good cut of protein, excessives amounts of fat, or even ground bone/teeth, eyes or intestines. Yeah, gross. When I went through and read ingredient labels on other big name brands and even so-called “premium/boutique” dog food labels, just about everything else does not come anywhere close to the quality of FROMM. Highly recommend!!

dog is more playful . no gas.. no bad breath. good stool. Made in Wisconsin!!

Much more expensive than I’m used to paying for. However my yorkie puppy was developing tummy issues. Helps with eye stains but not completely. The 3 dogs don’t like it as much as the purina pro plan shredded chicken flavor I’ve bought for years. A friend sent this because the puppy was having runny poop, awful gas & rumbling tummy. That has stopped. Tiny little pieces which is great for my 4 lb dog who had some teeth pulled.
