The gps itself has amazing features and very user friendly. The only downfall is the gps only lasts about 20 minutes when not plugged in. And that was with it fully charged. So it has to stay plugged in. It has cool features for weather and it allows you to put your truck size in so it can determine your route based on truck size. Overall it’s a great product and I would recommend it to any trucker.

Got this has a good for my wife. perfect for truckers. You can sync your phone and it will notify you or text messages calls, etc. you can also type in dimensions of your truck. Great quality. Definitely upgrading to the bigger screen later on, but this is a good start for people on a budget.

So many things wrong with my unit, the gps tracking giving me wrong roads for my RV. There’s a few more things wrong but I’m too tired to write it all.

So I run three GPS in my truck. Google maps, platform science copilot app, and this garmin. You can program your truck size and weight into this for it to give you a route that fits your truck. What I do like about this GPS is it won’t lie to you when you put an address in and it can’t find a good route. It will find the most suitable route and if there’s any issues it makes you aware of it. I was 80,000 pounds a few days ago and it told me it found a route but the route had one spot where I would be to heavy. This is where google and an atlas come in. This GPS isn’t a lifeline it’s simply a tool. I still plan my route but this does make it easier. So far it’s been spot on. It doesn’t take me out of route to bad either when I’m maxed out on weight. It tends to keep it pretty close to the quoted miles. I highly recommend for anyone in the truck driving industry but only as a tool. Not a life line. Use your atlas then plan off it with your GPS!

Been long haul driving for just over a year now and this is a game changer. Way better than Google maps. This thing gives you the route you need to take and no side or residential routes. Lets you know if you’re too high or too heavy for the upcoming bridge. Only grief I had with it was the initial setup was a pain, but once it was updated and ready. I just input my truck dimensions and it did the rest to plan the safest and fastest route for me.
