Mi opinión está un poco sesgada porque tuve la fortuna de encontrar el estuche prácticamente nuevo en oferta de almacén con casi el 70% de descuento. Pero aún considerando el precio normal, es de buena calidad. Le vino perfecto a mi Fender CD-60S y lo estrené en un viaje por carretera el dÃa siguiente que me llegó, sin ningún problema. El único detalle que debo comentar es que al menos el modelo 6/12 dreadnought es plano, no tiene la elevación que ayudarÃa a proteger aún más la guitarra del aplastamiento. Por todo lo demás, fue una ganga!

My old 3/4 small sized guitar had been sitting in my closet for a while, getting in my way, and I wanted to be able to protect it from dust as well as be able to stack it on a shelf without damaging it. A hard case seemed like a much better solution than the other soft cases for this.
The price was a bit high for my taste. I wish there were some cheaper hard case options but this seemed like the best option out there.
The inside of the case is very nice and soft, with a convenient compartment to store a tuner etc.
It has 3 clasps on one side and 1 clasp on the other. The middle of the three clasps has a lock on it.
So while outside of the case to me looks like pleather that will degrade over time, the description says it’s Tolex PVC which is supposed to be very durable and waterproof. I don’t know yet about the longevity but I do see a lot of damaged photos in other reviews so I feel skeptical. Maybe it takes a really hard beating to damage the case but I am not sure.
We’ll see how it holds up over time. I’m really not too concerned personally as I just want it to be protected and don’t care about scuffs.
One last concern is the warning on another review that a chemical on this can cause cancer. I assume that it’s probably some kind of fire retardant chemical. I’m hoping the exposure will be minimal as it will sit in the back of a closet and I think that many other things we’re already exposed to have this chemical like mattresses etc. But I kind of wish they’d put this warning more prominently in the description.
Overall the case looks nice. It does the job. I might have bought a different one if I’d noticed the cancer warning though.

If you want a reliable & protective case, this one is fantastic. I bought this to protect my $1400 Alhambra classical. Just recently, the tailgate on the Chevy Suburban I was driving malfunctioned and opened in traffic as I was accelerating at a stop light. The Gator case flew out of the car (Suburban’s are pretty high off the ground too) and landed flat on the pavement ~12-15 feet away. Fortunately, the car behind us did not run it over! Anyways, after retrieving the case, I found that the guitar was completely unharmed, and furthermore, it was still in tune! The only casualty in this accident was a broken metal foot on the bottom of the case. I contacted Gator to see if they could send me a link to purchase a replacement foot, and instead customer support is replacing my case!
It’s one thing to purchase a great case for a great price, but when customer support goes above and beyond like this (very quick responding too), I have to say that Gator has really exceeded my expectations!
Furthermore, I just realized that this case has a LIFETIME warranty to the original purchaser! What a GREAT thing to see a company stand like this behind the products. This is my 3rd Gator case that I have purchased over the years, and I think Gator will now always be my first choice!

I can’t say enough good about this case. I bought this for my 50 year old Yamaha 12-string. The fit is not quite like a skintight glove – there might be 1/2 inch on either side of the upper bout, but I’m delighted – I had the guitar in its original hard case all these years, and this fits better and has much better padding than that original hard case. For comparison: My children gave me a Fender 6-string (without a case) for my birthday, and I bought another case, for $1 less, for the Fender. THERE IS NO COMPARISON in the quality of the cases. I was really picky about the measurements, and I bought a Fender case for this Fender 6-string, and the fit was really good (the 6-string in this GATOR case has extra headroom. So for fit, I made the right choice for each guitar. But, if you want strength in build and latches, the GATOR case is the case to buy. I didn’t want identical cases (I wanted to be able to tell the guitars apart by just looking at the case, and I was very focused about fit) but I’m sorry I didn’t just buy two of these and add a decal or two to the one holding the 6-string, as a way to distinguish between guitars. This is a FANTASTIC case, ESPECIALLY since circumstances were such that these two cases arrived a week apart, so comparison was inevitable! BTW: I bought the other for two reasons, fit and because I liked that there was a latch at the lowest end of the neck, near the handle. I didn’t realize there would NOT be the standard two latches along the lower bout part of the case. So while both cases use 4 latches, on this GATOR case, there are two latches along the side, and two along the bottom (the lower bout), and that arrangement seems more secure. The latch near the handle appealed to me as a point of strength, but the GATOR case offers greater strength in every aspect of its construction. I LOVE this case.

Lovely case, looks strong, good price, Doesn’t Fit! Also No Archtop as shown, just a flat case.
I ordered this case for my Martin Size 1 Parlor guitar replica. All the dimensions shown should fit but don’t. The upper and lower bouts of this 12 fret guitar are smaller max width than the case but the upper shoulders do not slope off to the same shape, Fail.
Ok so I review the case size, a 14 fret Martin 0 size should fit. The shoulders are smaller, The waist and upper bout match the given dimensions and the 13.5″ lower bout should fit the shown 13.8″ wide case. I just made the 14 fret 0 template at slight under 13.5″. It won’t Fit! Not without tightly squeezing. Why? I measure the case, the uncompressed padding is not 13.8″ wide. It is 13.25″, .55″ smaller than the sizing diagram. Please see my picture. Fail!
Maybe I can remove some padding?

The Gator case is very well constructed, visually pleasant, and provides a snug fit and good protection for my Recording King ROS 626 000 12-Fret guitar. Case has 5 latches, one of which is keyed. The interior measurement of all Gator cases are included on the Gator website which enables you to double-check these. Length of my 000 guitar body is 20.5 inches. I have been searching for a case for a while, thus I am very pleased indeed !

The guitar came with a gig bag but being a 9 year old will be carrying it to school for lessons, I thought it best to protect the investment! The fit was perfect. Inside lining was very nice. It was a gift for my niece and I was able to hide some “extras” in the inside compartment. She loved it. I hope the guitar and the case last her until it’s time to go full size!

I love my Gator guitar case. It is extremely sturdy, easy to open and close, and has a nice soft lining that does not shed. I love the little gear box inside too. I use this case for my full-size acoustic guitar. And it fits perfectly. Very nice case!
