I was really looking forward to this case, but I was so disappointed when it arrived. The material is already coming apart at the seams. See attached photos. There are also bits of glue and scratches on the surface. I ordered a second one, but that too had glue stains, scuff marks, and tears in the material. Not worth it at all!

I could not be more pleased with this case. It surpasses my expectations. I have real peace of mind knowing my uke is safely packed away in this well made case. I expect it to be the forever home for my ukulele. The first day I used it I thought perhaps it was too small, the interior is cushioned. After a few weeks it still hugs my little friend very securely. Cases are an investment, but so are our instruments, this is a good one value.

I bought this for a KALA KA-SA-T8 eight string Ukulele that I own that I was struggling to find a hard case for (due to the long headstock).
After lots of measuring I decided to give this one a go. It fits perfectly, well the length is perfect and that’s with an end strap pin fitted, the lower bout just fits but is ‘snug’ but I’m sure that it will ‘loosen’ with use.
It’s very good quality with good secure latches.
Delivery was in two days (and this was less than a week before Christmas).
So, a great case and an excellent service from the seller.

This is a quality case that fits my Luna High Tide tenor ukulele perfectly. It doesn’t have the tooled-leather look of the cases sold by Luna, but saved me a significant amount of money. My uke is snug inside this case as if it were a custom fit. The lid secures with four latches and locks shut. If I had to nitpick something, it would be that the nylon strap which keeps the lid from falling completely open has a half-twist in it. Odd, but not a show-stopper by any means.

The issues are that it A)has some imperfections as far as the covering is concerned. The seams are obvious (not the stitching but where the ends meet and are glued? Together. ) and b) FYI it does not fit a KALA KA-TE uke as it is slightly smaller mostly due to the electronics on the uke. Might be able to stuff it in but at the risk of causing damage to the uke so I personally wouldn’t recommend it. I did not change my ratings based on b as it isn’t speaking to the quality or usability of the product in any real sense and more to improper measuring on my behalf and not factoring the space the knob on the active pickup controls would need in a case.
Overall the case will do well at what it’s designed to do. It’s sturdy and constructed of seemingly good material. I am currently using it for a back up uke I have ( more specifically a tenor made by a company called Vangoa which I purchased on Amazon that was a very good deal for what you are getting) for which the case works beautifully although was a bit more expensive than the uke it protects. Other than the minor cosmetic issue i mentioned before it’s looking like a great option for protecting a uke that fits.
One thing that may bother some people and potentially could damage the case if not remembered is that there is a closure that is on the reverse side(between the hinges) that has to be opened to open the case . There are 4 total clips that secure the case, one that “locks” similar to other locking clasps on music cases.
I would recommend this case despite the minor visual imperfections as most people aren’t buying a case to look good but instead to perform a useful function of protecting their gear. I have other Gator cases and they have always been decent and protected what is inside. As with any brand or type of case, the more and rougher the use the less time it will be before it needs replacement. This will likely outlast my uke that I have in it so no issues with that.

El artículo llegó en buenas condiciones, bien empacado, corresponde a lo publicado y las medidas son exactas, lo que ayuda mucho para saber si tu instrumento puede usarse en ese case.

This case seems to really be sturdy and protective. I own a concert Kala ukulele and it is a snug fit. My ukulele does not move around in the case, and that does give me confidence. It seems to be pretty drop resistant and secure. It even has a lock and came with a set of 2 keys. It has a compartment too that could be used for a tuner or finger picks. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this Gator GWE-UKE-CON concert-size hardshell case for my Martin CK1 concert ukulele. At first it was a slightly snug fit across the upper bout (see pic) but the case’s soft padding fairly quickly conformed itself to the uke’s dimensions, so I think it is adequate for basic protection around the house and in the car. (I wouldn’t use this case for shipping a Martin CK1 concert-size uke though, it’s just a bit close quarters in there and I’d want more leeway for squashing.) By the way, that *twist* in the strap that secures the case top, is surely intentional to make sure that it folds *into* the case instead of hanging out on the outside of the case – if it weren’t twisted the way it is, you’d have to fuss with it every time you closed the lid, which would be a nuisance. But the way they put that twist in it, it just automatically goes into the case when you close the lid, pretty clever design! Oh, one other thing – I’m extremely happy that this Gator case has zero smell even when I first received it – no smell whatsoever – I’d been worried that it would smell like weird toxic chemicals like so many things do these days, but nope, no smell – I don’t know if their factory uses non-smelly materials/glues or if they just let things air out throughly before shipping, but whichever it is, I’m pleased to report it has no smells at all! I’m very happy with this purchase.

I bought this case for my Martin S1 Soprano. The case is well built with three solid latches. The fit is perfect and the inside is plush. It has a nice compartment for a tuner, capo or other accessories. Great case.

Fits my Cordoba Tenor PERFECTLY! Boy am I impressed with the quality. Storage is plentiful enough for my snark clip on tuner, capo, picks and a new set of strings. Locks work awesome, texture inside and out is amazing. Highly recommend. Will be buying this for my other instruments.

Robust, sehr gut verarbeitet und gute Scharniere.

My case looks clean and shiny. It seems well made and sturdy. The inside is plush and protective. This case is definitely a big step up for my cherished ukulele. I have two suggestions: increase the sizing by 1″ to accommodate the various sizes that my particular instrument comes in and offer a place to personalize the case to make it officially mine.

The case was delivered just wrapped in clingwrap. The “leather” is damaged. I won’t return it as it was the last one in stock unfortunately and it does the job of protecting my solid koa wood Martin & Co Ukulele.
My initial impressions of the case ignoring the damage:
It feels solid. Heavy. The fake leather gives a robust impression but the tear concerns me about the longevity of it. The handles and latches feel fine. Not great or fantastic. But fine. 4 latches (3 on one side and one last one on the opposite side to prevent accidental opening) make me feel secure that it wont open unless I intend to. The lock is Meh at best. But its there..
The inside is nice overall. Basic but all you really need. Not sure how long it will stay nice though. But for now its fine. There is a medium sized storage compartment which I find great for keeping extra strings, picks, tuner, a cloth etc. My Tenor Ukulele fits very nicely. There is definitely space for me to add my Daddario 2 way Humidifier as well as a Hygrometer.
Overall I’d say this case is all you need and nothing more. I’m not sure how long the outside finish will last. I’m reasonably happy with it for what I paid (65 USD) mostly because it is the only case available where I live in Dubai (Ukuleles not very popular here it seems). I believe KALA sells cases for around 99 USD. If I had the chance it would MUCH rather have gone with that for the extra money.
Overall 3.5 stars. 3 starts because mine arrived damaged and this seems to be a recurring problem.
