So far, so good. This is my first appliance of this type, and I did a lot of research. Selling points include: Non-toxic. Stainless steel inside and out. (Harder to find these without potentially toxic coatings, than one might think!) Reviews indicate that Geek Chef stands behind their products. This is very important! Spacious enough for what I need, but still possible to fit into my small kitchen. And, I really prefer the simple dials — both the look and the function. First thing I’ve just cooked is a simple piece of fish. One of my goals was to stop having to use and heat my big oven, for small things like this. And boy did it work for that — so much faster than using a big gas oven for the purpose. And, it didn’t heat the kitchen like the big oven. I’ll add more details about how it works for other things, as I try them out.

UPDATE: DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This thing is a piece of junk and a fire hazard! It won’t shut off and if you do manage to get it shut off it turns itself back on! Also, tonight the light quit working. We make sure to unplug it every time we are done using it as we are afraid it will turn itself on in the middle of the night! I bought this back in May 2023. This piece of junk is going in the trash as soon as my new oven gets here (NOT this brand!).
I liked the 26QT Geek Chef at first. It cooks food fast but within the first few days the bell stopped working and now more recently it won’t shut off when the timer stops, I have to unplug it to stop it! Definitely doesn’t feel safe to use it. Waste of money.

I was looking to replace my Breville toaster oven (that still works great) and my air fryer that the teflon was coming off of and I didn’t like that. The idea of having one appliance on my counter was very appealing! This works great as a second oven. It toasts well, broils fine, cooks a fine pizza, but the air fryer component is less than desired.
It doesn’t work nearly as well with a roast chicken or veggies as an air fryer does. It cooks very hot so things can get dry or burnt. I think it has to do with the fact that it circulates air too much and it’s not as enclosed, but I’m not sure. I’ve been experimenting with it for a couple of months. I’ve tried using different pans but we’ve had to move things to a fry pan to get the desired results and even still that means I’m using more pots and pans and fixing things, so it kinda defeats the purpose. I probably got spoiled with my old air fryer that worked amazing, minus the teflon. Looks like I’m looking for a new ceramic air fryer to put on my counter, but it’s better than less than ideal results time after time.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product! The three height levels allow for multiple uses, and casseroles cook to perfection. Light weight and quiet. Exterior heat is not excessive. The dials to operate could be better defined. Keep in mind, you are buying a “toaster oven” and not a full size high end stove. Enjoy!

I purchased the Geek Chef 26- quart air fryer toaster oven. I have the smaller Geek Chef air fryer toaster oven 24.5 -quart 1700 watt, which is the fourth picture, but the air fryer knob stopped working but I love the product, so I decided to buy the same Geek Chef air fryer toaster oven, but I couldn’t find the same one I have. I found the larger Geek Chef 26-quart 1700 watt. I had to send first one back as it was damaged in shipping. I received the replacement everything was great. I cleaned it up and air fried ribeye steaks they were awesome. After dinner I cleaned the air fryer, and I was shocked by what I saw, as you can see in the first 3 pictures. Pictures 1, 2and 3 is after one use. Picture 5 is my 24.5-quart Geek Chef after almost 2 years of use. Pictures, 2 and three are the door and bottom of the oven it is difficult to see in the pictures, but it is tarnished, my older one has some tarnish but not bad for being almost 2 years old. Honestly my older Geek Chef air fryer is of much better quality. Even though 26 quart is larger the material seems to be of better quality in the older model. Also, 26- quart only weighs 22 pounds compared to my 24.5-quart smaller model which weighs 24.6 pounds. I wish they still made the 24.5 – quart as I would send this one back and get the same one that I have now. I would not buy this one again. I hope it last at least as long as my old one did. Dissatisfied customer.

Let me tell you about this little machine. Recently we have become empty nester…I know I know..thought my world was ending at first but now we have to ask the kids when they plan on leaving. We had to figure out how to cook for just the two of us. This countertop oven/air fryer is perfect for us. I no longer use our oven unless it’s a large amount of food or big batches of cookies. We can cook our meat and veggies at the same time and clean up is a breeze. I really like that it’s not only an oven but it’s an air fryer, a toaster and a broiler all in one. Plus it looks very nice on the kitchen counter! Get you one, you will not be disappointed!
