Got this rx6600 gigabyte eagle for $218 before tax. My 2 main concerns were does it have coil whine and are the fans loud or quiet. The card I received has no audible coil whine and the fans are quiet. I upgraded one of my backup gaming rigs from a gtx970 to this rx6600. It has an i7-7700 processor in it so the gtx970 was bottlenecking the performance on it. The rx6600 is a very good match with this processor. The price to performance value at $218 is awesome.

I checked, everything is ok. The video card is very quiet.
But I didn’t get the AMD bonus game. AMD’s official page has a message about The Last of Us being free to play for all RX66 buyers.

Love this card, it’s incredible for its price and can definitely compete with Nvidia cards, works really well and is very quiet, it’s a bit big so my only concern would be the sagging.

The shroud and backplate are made entirely of plastic. I can understand the shroud being plastic, but the backplate too? C’mon.

For $300 dollars (on sale), this card is more then worth it, sound levels are good, performance is great, and is a reliable card with entry level ray tracing capabilities.
For specs i run 32gb ddr4 ram, ryzen 5 1600 OC, HDD, and this gpu.
In cyberpunk 2077 ultra settings (no Ray tracing) I average out to 54 fps, 79 fps peaks, and 23fps lows, with ray tracing i average at 32fps with lows at 12fps and 40fps peaks.
Red dead redemption, maxed settings i average at 66fps, with lows at 18fps and peaks at 89fps.
Death stranding, RE Village, doom eternal, Max settings, 120-150fps on average with these titles.

La tarjeta llego impecable, el rendimiento es fenomenal y por el precio es mejor aun. corre todo juego actual a 1080p a 60 fps sin problemas y en algunos casos llega a 1440p 60 fps tambien. gracias a amd fsr algunos juegos pesados pueden ir a 4k 30 fps y otros no tan demandantes a 4k 60 fps. sin dudas una de las mejores compras que he hecho en este año.

This product is great for the price if you are looking for a decent video card and not wanting one that will allow you to play graphic heavy games on high quality mode. I am to play on low to medium quality but the graphics in my games are still pretty good so I’m happy with that considering what I paid. Imaging is still pretty crisp and I have no graphic tearing or lagging of any kind.

if you know about video cards, you know that amd drivers can be a problem … i read online about people getting black screens and having driver issues … building a new windows 11 pc, i didn’t think i would get those … boy, was i wrong… over 5 hours trying to get this card to work only to get flickering and black screens and having to reset my computer numerous times until i finally it gave me a screen with color saturation and windows telling me there is a driver error… after 5 horrendous hours, i finally quit … i have never experienced anything like that dealing with electronics, my frustration was through the roof … i unstalled the card and put my old gt 1030 card and it worked right away windows 11 automatically installing nvidia drivers … i was amazed … i returned rx6600 and ordered nvidia 3060 card which unfortunately cost over a $100 more … but i would rather pay more for a nvidia gpu than have to deal with amd driver issues ever again
