I was excited to try out this Greatever Snorkel Set, and overall, I’m pretty impressed with the quality. The 3-window design really does offer a great panoramic view underwater. It’s like having a widescreen TV strapped to your face while swimming!
The anti-fog feature works well – I didn’t have any issues with visibility during my snorkeling session. The materials feel durable and well-made, which is always a plus for water gear.
Now, here’s where I ran into a bit of a snag – literally. I have a beard, and unfortunately, it prevented the mask from getting a good seal on my face. Water kept seeping in around the edges. To be fair, this isn’t really the product’s fault. If you’re clean-shaven or don’t have facial hair, you probably won’t have this issue.
The dry top snorkel is a nice feature. It did its job keeping water out when I went under, which I appreciate. The adjustable head strap was easy to use and seemed to accommodate different head sizes well. Actually, since I can’t use it my 9 year old son has been having a blast with it.
I like that it comes with a mesh bag for storage and transport. Makes it easy to toss in a beach bag without worrying about sand getting everywhere.
Despite the beard issue (which again, is more of a me problem than a product problem), I’m impressed with the overall quality and design of this snorkel set. If you’re looking for a good snorkeling setup and don’t have a beard to contend with, this could be a great choice for your underwater adventures.

I like that it has the panels on the side, and I didn’t get water in the snorkel. I did find that I didn’t feel as though I got as much air through the snorkel as with other snorkels I have had in the past, and the mask felt it didn’t quite fit right, but I have no explanation of why or how. Ultimately it worked well for me, and if I had been less concerned about where my daughter was, what challenges she may have been having, and just been able to focus on the swimming, I might have liked it even more. I have nothing I can really complain about. I didn’t love it, but there is no real reason why and no reason someone else shouldn’t give this set a shot, and it was definitely nice to feel I had my peripheral vision.

My previous dive mask did not have peripheral visibility whatsoever & that made me feel very claustrophobic. I never even thought to look for a mask that had this third “window” on the side like this one does. What a difference having that field of view made for me, both physically & mentally.
It may be mind over matter but now that I don’t feel so “closed in” or stifled by the mask, I was able to relax when I put my face in the water & truly float around. I’m practicing snorkeling in the pool right now so that I’ll be acclimated (& calm) by the time I go to Mexico next month.
I’ve gone snorkeling before but I usually only put my face in the water for a few minutes at a time because I start getting anxious due to being claustrophobic. I’ve been able to float aimlessly around the pool with little to no anxiety now. It’s great being able to see clearly all around me without needing to turn my head.
My mask has a good seal around my face so I had no leaks. The snorkel valve didn’t leak either when I tested it out by going completely underwater.

This is a very nice snorkel set. Sometimes products just “feels” cheap. This does not. The silicone seal is as good a seal as you will find on any mask. The lens, is plastic, not glass. But it is the best plastic lens I’ve ever seen. Super clear. The snorkel itself has a soft agreeable mouthpiece, and flexible joints to make it very forgiving. It has a float valve at the end that is pretty good at keeping water out, when you dive below the surface. This is a very nice feature. It’s not a perfect seal, but it is effective. The strap on the mask is very comfortable and easily adjustable.
I have only tried this in fresh water. But I can see using this on any salt water vacation. If you snorkel every day, this is a good starter, but ultimately you will want to level up eventually. But if you are headed out on vacation for one or two weeks a year, this is definitely a good choice.

I will update the review once I’ve had it in the pool, but for now I’m quite happy with the fit. My head is larger than the average human’s so sometimes things are tough to fit (Those semi-fitted “one size fit’s most” baseball caps – Fuhgeddaboudit), so I was pleased that this worked as well as it did.
Swimming at my local gym was suggested as an alternative form of exercise that is low impact, but still a good whole body workout. I figured that if I was going to be trying it out, I wanted to get a dedicated mask to keep in my gym bag. I’ve tried a couple different masks lately and none of them fit nearly as well.
I did the “inhale through your nose” test to confirm this sucks up close and does not allow air past my face. I snugged up the straps and wore it (at my desk) for a few minutes and did not have any fogging issues, even when breathing out of my nose. The strap was comfortable and seemed to put the pressure of the entire back of my skull instead of just two small strips. Only wearing this for 30-45 minutes at a time will tell if it still feels good. The mask seems to provide a wider field of view than I’m used to, so that is another big plus to these.
The mouthpiece on the snorkel isn’t as good as the Comfo-Bite mouthpieces I have been using on my SCUBA regulator, but it is still quite comfortable – way more comfortable than any of the old school snorkels I’ve used on vacation in Mexico or Hawaii doing tours. I’ll have to update the review if the “dry top” on the snorkel is ineffective, but I’ve been using them with my personal gear and I’ve got to say they’re awesome when you duck underwater.
Now to make a reservation for a lane in the pool at my gym and get this wet.
