I purchased the 2x8gb 3600mhz cl14 sticks to add on to the 2x16gb G Skill ripjaws V 3600mhz cl14 I already have. I moved my ripjaws ram over to A1 and B1 and put the HP ram on A2 and B2. The timings are the exact same, so my PC booted right up without changing the XMP profile. I feel a better performance boost in my games than when I had 4x16gb 3200mhz cl16. Ram scored 141% in CPU userbenchmark. 48gb of ram should be plenty good for a long time.

TLDR: Follow the ddr4 overclocking guide, and run stress test (preferably Extreme1 test on TestMem5) before just yolo-ing your way in oc’ing the RAM, use a RAM fan if possible or a 120mm over the GPU blowing air to the RAM.
From to start, I have a i9 9900kf and a MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC, I bought this kit because I’m intending to have this system a couple of more years and wanted to squeeze a bit of performance, first of all, I’m totally a noob at ddr4 oc’ing, I just saw some Buildzoid youtube vids on overcloking RAM and tightening timings and decided to just copy settings on his Z390i gaming edge, until it booted on windows and settled with a 3800mhz (wouldn’t post on 4000mhz even if I upped the SA, IO and DRAM voltage), command rate 2, 15-15-15-35-400 @1.45v. I used Memtest64 and it passed as stable, used that config for various months while pretty much only gaming Valorant and aimlabs, and using the system for everyday tasks, never had any issues. For some reason I recently had an itch on trying to get my memory to 4000mhz and spent all the day trying that with no success, leading me to the DDR4 overclocking guide in which they mentioned that Memtest64 isn’t good at detecting errors and try TestMem5 instead, which I did with the 3800mhz config, and voila, it showed errors, so I spent more time tweaking the memory, even putting a 120mm fan near the RAM, and doing TestMem5 tests with no luck, even on the RAM’s XMP it fails TestMem5. After endless testing,120mm fan, and using the ddr4 overclocking guide I finally settled with 3600mhz tCL14, TRCD 15, tRP 15, tRAS 28, tRFC 280, tREFI 65535, VDIMM1.47v VCCSA 1.2V, VCCIO 1.2V, with a pass on the Extreme1 test on TestMem5. I’m probably limited by the mobo or my cpu doesn’t have a great Memory controller, plus this kit is dual rank which is more taxing on the memory controller.

Samsung B-die and stable out of the box with already tight and properly tuned timings? At -30 of competitors for same kit.
5/5 outstanding product. HP Clearly hired someone with knowl of the science AND user-friendlyness to be able to bring this product.
If HP was trying to make a comeback statement, they tried and succeeded with this RAM kit.
(Note; Im the FIRST person who will happily trash talk HP. I cant with this product.)

Ordered this B-die HP V10 32GB kit in 12/2022 for $160. It was on sale and a brand new release with hardly any reviews then. $40 off from $200. I see it’s even cheaper today with a lot of reviews so I thought I’d throw mine in after using it a few months. Even at the price I paid then I still think it was worth it. This is some of the fastest DDR4 you can get and has been rock solid for me. B-die has always been an overclocker’s luxury type of RAM and aimed at enthusiasts. You are paying a B-die tax so keep that in mind. I think even out of the box with XMP or XMP + light tweaks this is a good way to get up to the top echelon of DDR4’s capabilities. Even more so if you overclock beyond that.
* For reference I am using on Intel Z690 platform Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4
As many other reviews mention this kit has 2 XMP profiles if your motherboard supports it. But XMP1 is probably going to be the most universally compatible and the stated specs. As always for RAM it is best to consult your motherboard’s QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for verifying RAM compatibility. Mine wasn’t listed as compatible on my Mobo’s QVL but I decided to take a gamble anyway and it worked out. YMMV. I think B-die is a safer bet on stability and compatibility too but I could be wrong.
For some reason XMP1 for me was the stated 3200 CL14 and XMP2 was also 3200 CL14 *but* had additional defined secondary timings included that were better/lower than XMP1’s ‘Auto’. Your Mobo could vary on the XMP behavior.
I used XMP2 as a base and then did some manual overclocking. Been running 3600 @ 14-14-14-34 CR2 1.47v for 5 months stable. I have a LOT of headroom to overclock more as it’s running and cool and with B-die being being fine into 1.5-1.6v. Honestly I haven’t had the need to OC more because this is already blazingly fast. I would definitely recommend this RAM if you are looking for high-end DDR4 or at all interested in overclocking your RAM, even if minor on top of the XMP like me.
At the end of the day this isn’t that far ahead of other quality DDR4 that is cheaper than B-die like E-die. So you are still paying a premium buying this for small performance gains. If you are never going to overclock or even care about ‘B-die’ or squeezing the most performance out of DDR4 you are much better off saving your money and buying a cheaper kit that will be very close in performance. *BONUS* It’s compatible with a lot of RGB software too like OpenRGB. Have mine in sync with Mobo + GPU + SSD for lighting and it handles full color range and animations very well with a nice “solid bar” look. Sleek and professional looking with RGB off too.

The ram is awesome. Classic B die with some good tweaks. The RGB looks great and the ram does its job well.
That’s not the point.
The biggest problem is the only ram available is the 8GB sticks. I regret not having bought 4 instead of 2 when I made the initial purchase a couple years ago.

Really nice RAM for the price and it made a visible difference to the performance of my machine. The LED lighting looks great. I was able to use XMP without any problems and I think you could overclock if you wanted.
I would have given it 5 stars but the packaging was not sealed and had clearly been used. It’s easy to see the marks on the pins from a previous install and the brushed metal was marked. I installed the RAM and it worked fine so I did not lodge a return since it came from the US and it would be difficult to get 2 more sticks for the same price. It would be great if Amazon had some control over this as it’s not the first time it’s happened.

Totally worth the price for this Samsung b die kit. Managed to go stable from 3200 to 3800 without much effort
