Excellent. I am writing this review for many reasons.
First, there are very, very few reviews currently. Additionally, the reviews are not super specific so my choice to purchase this guitar was more a leap of faith due to the brand.
I was debating between this and the Yamaha of similar cost. I’ve owned a Yamaha acoustic before that I really loved. From the reviews on the Yamaha classical guitar, I’d say this Ibanez guitar may be superior. Firstly, it does have a truss rod. It seems the Yamaha may not. This is helpful for someone who KNOWS how to adjust one. It will ensure playability for years.
Also, the head did come in a beautiful brown color and not the red as shown. I was happy about this too!
Ibanez is known for “fast necks” and low action. This guitar is that for certain. I doubt I will adjust the action at all. It sounds great and has no fret buzz unless you play very hard. It is easier to play than my Fender acoustic . Even the strings it came with sound great. If you don’t think so, perhaps you aren’t the guitarist you may think you are. .. Arpeggios and sweeps are easy. Barre chords are super easy. Scales are a breeze.
The neck is wide because a classical guitar is supposed to be that way.
The guitar is very lightweight. It almost seems like a toy until you play it.
Overall, I think this guitar is really a value. I’d buy again and recommend to others.

If you are on the fence thinking about buying this, buy it. I just got mine, put some love into the string wrap on the strings that came with it, tuned it, and I am thoroughly impressed. For new guitar players give the strings time to stretch you will re tune it for a couple weeks most likely, that is any new strings as they stretch out. This guitar sounds great, and it arrived in Perfect condition, it looks amazing.

This is a great starter classical guitar. Right out of the box, with a quick tuning, it played pretty nicely. The action was already comfortable for me, the neck is straight (it does have a truss rod, but I didn’t need to adjust it), and even the intonation was pretty decent (but not perfect, the g was off more than a bit on mine). For the price, I think the “playability” quality can’t be beat. However, the cosmetic finish leaves something to be desired. First, the head is NOT red, like in the pictures. I think the red head in the picture is just an artifact of the lighting angle when the photo was taken. It’s just a normal brown head, as you would expect. However, there are many minor flaws in the finish that reveal that this is a “budget” guitar. The bridge, nut, and saddle were all scuffed up a lot (as if they were reject pieces that couldn’t be used on nicer instruments), and the polish has several minor blemishes here and there. Even the dot inlays along the side of the neck have a few blemishes where you can see that the hole wasn’t drilled perfectly, then was touched up with some filler or epoxy. I counted about 20 or so of these minor cosmetic issues. They are all minor, and at first glance the guitar still looks beautiful. It’s not until closer inspection that these turn up. In this price range, some of these issues are to be expected (although 20 blemishes was a little more than I’d expect), but playability is the key metric, and this guitar plays just fine, right out of the box. The tuners are a little stiff, but they don’t slip and the instrument stays in tune just fine. A few other reviewers mention the lack of dot inlays in the fingerboard, or the lack of a way to mount a strap, etc. I’d just like to remind them that this is a true classical guitar, and those features are not supposed to be present on a classical guitar. 5 stars for actual playability-for-the-price, but I knocked one star off for the many cosmetic flaws.

years ago I had a classical Guitar which I lost in a fire. It was full size with nylon strings. It tuned easily and held it’s tune quite well.It had a very nice full sound. I was never a really accomplished player but have a good ear and was pretty accomplished on wind instruments. It has been very hard to find an affordable guitar of comparable quality. This one really fit the bill. Has a very nice sound and is so similar to the one I ha years ago. I’ve forgotten most chords and pretty much have to relearn to play it. The wide neck and frets may be slightly more difficult for most beginnes, but was what I was looking for as I have large fingers. The strings it came with are OK so far and I will wait until I get back into playing better befoer I decide if I need to change them, they’re fine for practice. Overall I think this guitar is a fantastic value for the price. I hope this is helpful. If you’re an adult looking for an affordable guitar to play for pleasure, at any level of expertise, I highly recommend this one.

i had it for a few day, then woke up one morning and the bridge fell off. Trying to get a refund, but after two weeks now, no reply from the seller. I feel i have been scamed.

Good sound, and good value of money. I like it so much.

What you pay all goes into the guitar, no case or other frills except the strings of course and they are fine. The guitar comes pre strung so the strings don’t need to be broken in as long as newly installed ones. The guitar is easy to tune and the woods are amazing. The gitar is all solid quality woods, the spruce sound board projects really nicely, the base notes sound great. I compared it to my old Raymundo cedar top and the sound compared verry nicely, the spruce does not have the same warm sound but an excellent crisper clear sound. If what you want is a good guitar, this one is an excellent choice. I will be gifting it but wanted to test it out first, it passed with flying colours.

Considering its affordable price, I expected to receive a guitar that I would be “settling for”, but as it turned out, I was delighted. I’m quite pleased with my new Ibanez GA3.
It feels solid, well-constructed, very comfortable in my hands. I can sense precision in its construction and it sounds wonderful. It’s a joy to play. It’s also attractive. I expected to find flaws here and there, but there were none.
I found it playable right out-of-the-box. I was expecting to have to make some adjustments to the guitar as well as replace the included strings, but was very pleased/surprised to find that it required nothing more than a tuning.
I would recommend an Ibanez GA3 to anyone who is either new to the guitar or on a budget and looking for a quality instrument at an affordable price.
A definite 5 stars.

All the strings were touching the Fred board – Neck was bent. All repeat all Fret wire has sharp edging.
