This headlamp is bright. The mount vibrates some but easy to modify. The taillight is why 3-stars. Only worked a couple of times, mount is not easy to use and it would not hold a charge after first one died.
CLARK ASKILDSON –
Totally exceeded expectations, one of the best bike lights I’ve ever had. Super bright and rechargeable
Frederick B. –
I bought these for commuting on my bike. The headlight is very heavy. Much heavier than my old headlight that used two AAA batteries. Neither the headlight or the taillight hold their charge as long as they should. Lights that use disposable batteries would be lighter and more environmentally responsible than these lights.
Amazon Customer –
I got hit by two cars cause my lights on my electric scooter werent strong enough to be seen. No longer a problem. i have three of these mounted and i cant be missed now. Highly recommend.

Well built, great features, cool as hell backlight. BUT, not really bright, I’d say 700 lumens, it might say in the instructions, which are great, and unread.
And the mount for the backlight might drop it. I velcroed across the back once the angle was set, and used small elastic cord to tie it to my back bag, and used the band that came with it.
I love the patterns of the back light, it is cool, I will charge it on the bike. A $10 back light at least.
But know, I mounted mine to a bag handle, mounted on a seat post, the enclosed mount will hold.
The light turns on and off without going through all the modes, is well made, took 6 hours to charge at first, so it should last.
The light mount is a good one, not great, but very good for the price.
At first the back light did not work or charge, and I hated that because it looks cool, but then I used the enclosed charger and pushed it ALL THE WAY IN and saw a red charging light.
It was more than bright enough to ride at 20 MPH in dark… But I like my brighter light more for seeing, this one may bring less bugs into my face and light being a couple hundred lumens less bright…
But a very good deal for what I paid, $24ish. 24 years ago this would be a $300 bike light.

Totally awesome and worth every penny, super bright long lasting lights and was even able to charge phone after a hurricane came thru
Eric –
Charging ability ease of installation. Good quality parts and functionality

The headlight is plenty bright. The battery will last a while on the “dim” setting, and this is bright enough to be seen by cars, or bright enough if you are in a rural area with minimal light pollution (i.e. if you’re on a trail in the woods). I was able to get about 4 hours on dim.
However on the brightest setting, the battery will drain quite quickly, probably only lasting about an hour. For the price, I think this is an acceptable tradeoff.
The tail light battery does seem to have some issues though. I usually run it on one of the blinking settings to help last longer. However you WILL need to charge it in between each ride. I’ve had it die mid-ride a couple times. Tail light probably lasts 1-2 hours on the blinking setting, which is pretty junk. Also if you don’t ride for 2-3 days, it will be dead just from sitting in the off position. So you definitely need to charge it each time which is annoying.
I’m not too upset by the tail light, since I only bought this for the headlight. My advice would be to get a cheap Kryptonite tail light as a backup – the battery in those things lasts a long time, and they’re brighter.
If IPSXP is reading this review, I have a couple suggestions: TAIL LIGHT: remove some of the LED bulbs on the tail light, make a more efficient blinking pattern, and remove all the other blinking patterns, to help improve the battery life. HEAD LIGHT: add a little window on the side, or a translucent plastic ring around the front to pick up the light on the sides, to improve visibility by cars.
