After being recommended this product from a friend, I gave it a try and am satisfied with the purchase. The device is small, no bigger than a small MP3 player or the like, and is easily concealable in a pocket. I use this on my back while at work throughout the day. The device is easy to operate – You turn it on, and press the left or right button to select which set of pads you wish, and then use the up or down button to increment or decrease the “power”. My friend recommend washing the pads after use with water, but I have just replaced them directly on to the plastic sheet they came on and they are still sticking after 20-30 uses.

This little device helps redirect pain signals from my low back. So far I have used it gardening, sitting for long periods that would cause me to get up more frequently, and in bed to get back to sleep. I just wish the sticky would last longer.

I bought this unit after literally running a previous Tens machine into the ground. My first system was purchased at a county fair and it cost me a fortune (about $100). I had used it for several years with good success but it eventually died on me. I found this one on Amazon and it works just as well as the one I bought for much more! If you have any aches or pains then I highly recommend this affordable unit. It is easy to use and effective.

I bought another, more expensive unit and did nothing but struggle to try to get it to work. Turned out it was a faulty unit. I then went to the YouTube site of “the most famous doctors on the internet,” who recommended this unit. It’s a much simpler, less expensive unit, and it delivered. Within 5 minutes of pulling it out of the box, it had it on my knee and was receiving pulses. It’s still a bit early to tell if it works to help heal a meniscus tear, but it’s a breeze to set up and operate. For that, I’m grateful. Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some healing results!
Thrifty Nifty –
Purchased this to help with lower back pain. It does help with temporary relief but of course treats only symptoms. Reasons I purchase this unit over others:
1) Case that clips in pocket and holds unit
2) Continuous stimulation setting
3) You can set the timer up to 60 min
4) Uses 3 AAA batteries (instead of button or internal rechargeable)
5) Better quality pads than cheaper models
The case that comes with this is too loose for the unit. I am surprised to see that no one is talking about this. I have had it fall out of my shirt and jeans pockets every time a bend over or lean any direction where the unit can slide out. Let a friend use this and had the same complaint from here. It has hit the floor over and over. This one factor would make me reconsider the purchase if buying again.
That said, the unit itself works great. Has 8 modes. Some deliver a single pulse type, some do combinations of the pulses and one does a continuous stimulation. You can set the timer up to 60 min, a big plus and restart the cycle as many times as you like.
Takes 3AAA batteries, another plus, and they last many many hours. There are 4 pads. You can use a set of two on each side of the area you want to stimulate. The areas can be on different parts of the body. The leads are sufficiently long to do upper lower back, or lower back and shoulder etc.
When you select a mode it applies to both sets of pads. In other words you cannot set one pair of pads to one mode and the other pair to a different mode. You can however vary the intensity, setting one set to one intensity and the other set to a different intensity. If you change modes the intensity levels go back to 0. You must reset the intensity by choosing a channel (1 or 2) and pressing an up button until the desired intensity is reached for each set of pads every time the mode is changed.
The intensity levels go far above what I would ever use (which is level 7 or 8).
Bottom line: Love the unit, holder needs improvement. Putting double sided tape in holder to help unit stay in. If buying again, I would probably move up to a more expensive unit but also do not regret this purchase.

Ordered for compatibility with an ear electrode, it works well and so do all the pads I have tried so far. Not my favorite type of cords though. The straight, thin metal ends tend to slip out of things if you’re not careful but the belt clip helps a lot. HOWEVER always check the box. The first one I received was clearly used, the pads had skin, hair and dirt on them and two were stuck together. Gross. Had to get a replacement. That said… The replacement was pristine and shipped quickly.

My PT therapist recommended a TENS unit quite frankly from another mega chain. I found it on Amazon $6 cheaper and it arrived over a week sooner than the other company could deliver it. He set it up with the parameters he wants me to use and it’s amazing. I also ordered some extra pads. Glad I’m using it.

these guys are right! this is the best-priced, easiest to use, and I get immediate relief. my intentions with this TENS device was to increase circulation in my nerve injury (brachial plexus), but I find that there is some overall relief that I wasn’t expecting. after a contrast bath of my arm, I go to this TENS. I Really look forward to this part. my muscles are weak and are slowly returning. the TENS feels amazing. there are many settings to choose from and the instructions are easy.
