This is a great E string. It’s especially nice if you want power. The little plastic sleeve that rests on the bridge is a bit thicker with Jargars than other E strings, which I actually like (you don’t cut through the sleeve and into the bridge). Comparable in sound to the Goldbrokat E. I’m honestly not sure which one I’d prefer; their behavior and sound is very similar on my fiddle.
