Thicker than anticipated although still lightweight. Was expecting a thickness like Corell. These are a little thicker and create the illusion of primitive or hand-thrown pottery by having a slightly dimpled surface. It’s an ingenious design, which reflects light off a high glaze in a very-pottery-way instead of a modern- plastic-way.
The blue colored set is every bit as rich a color as in the photo. We are very pleased with them! Now, if only melamine could go in the microwave! Ah well, that’s a minor aspect that is more than compensated for by its lightweight, easily cleaned & mighty hard to break even by dropping on the floor characteristics.

I bought these dishes because they were very pretty and i could use them
everyday or for special occasions. But
once i received them I was disappointed that they cannot be used in the microwave. That limits the use if
you have to walk away from your
food and it gets cold. The dishes are
strong enough to stand dropping,
easy to wash, no food stains so far,
and will look very pretty in your cabinet or open shelving.

Needed extra place settings to add to my dishes to mix in a different color. These are nice and sturdy and will work. Do not microwave them the product gets so hot even after 30 seconds. These would be great for camping or lake house. I wouldn’t use them every day. Again I just wanted to add some color to my everyday dishes and they work for that

My kitchen is full of ceramic dishware but ever since my adult son moved back in (divorce), they have all gotten chipped or broken. Plus every weekend the grandkids are over and kids will be kids. These melamine dishes are a nice compromise between looks and durability.

Trying to find good looking, quality melamine dinnerware that doesn’t cost a fortune is impossible. I finally found this set and while it was more than I wanted to spend, I thought what the heck, I’ll give it a shot. Super glad I did. This is THICK and STURDY. And… looks really really good. I’m gonna order another set actually. It’s much thicker than I thought it would be and washes easily without scratching. I looked at more on Smileamazon which were cheaper, but the patterns on the front just don’t look nearly as nice as this set. THIS is a super high quality dinnerware set that didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Though I bought it for outdoor use, I can see me replacing my china plates because this really looks so good. Love it.

The quality of the finish of some of the items was poor. It looked like there was not quality control check.
For example, pattern colours ran into one another during production, patterns off centre, rough surface on one dinner plate. Not worth the price, but amazon customer service was fast and efficient and arranged a refund.

I bought these for my mother because she simply does not have the strength to lift heavy china plates and cups. She chose this turquoise set because it’s her favorite color. They are very attractive, well made, lightweight and go into the dishwasher. Be aware that they are NOT to be used in the microwave! We just kept some of her other dishes to use in the microwave oven,

The plates have a plastic field to them Rather than porcelain, but they are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for what I wanted. I just love the happy pop of color. It gives my kitchen. It gives kind of a Spanish/Boho summer vibe. I read that you can’t use these plates and bowls in the microwave but I don’t have a problem with that personally because I have glass bowls and containers that I can use if I need to use a microwave to heat things up. I think anyone that purchases this set would be very happy with it.

A wonderful pop of color at the beach house for guests to enjoy a nice meal. Cleanup is easy due to the light weight nature of the dishes…no more chips! Love them!

Very disappointed when I saw the dishes were made of plastic. They charged me 40 dollars for plastic dishes, a total scam. It should be written that the material is plastic on the front image. It looks like porcelain in the images.
