I ordered this shoe partially because of Johnston & Murphy’s reputation for excellent quality but mostly because I was looking to buy a shoe that is made in the United States and noticed that the Amazon website listed it as being “Made in USA.” When I received the shoe I was dismayed to find that IT IS NOT MADE IN THE UNITED STATES. The inside of the shoe is clearly marked “Made in China” and even the box states “Made in China.” I was considering returning it but decided to keep it because it fits well, is comfortable, and is well-designed, but I wouldn’t buy it again because it is not made in the United States. I lowered my Amazon rating for the shoe to 4 instead of 5 not because there is anything wrong with the shoe but because of Amazon’s incorrect advertising of it. Amazon, I respectfully request that you update your website for this product very soon to indicate that the shoe is Made in China and not in the United States!

I liked everything about these shoes. However the ones I bought were 1/2 size larger than normal when I compared them with all my shoes. I would definitely get another pair of them 1/2 size smaller when they become available. “Keep that in mind”

I have had these dress shoes (Johnston Murphy) since March of 2023. I maybe wear them twice a week. I always rotate my dress shoes for work. The shoe itself is comfortable; however, it is frustrating that the inside of the heel is starting to come apart. I have another brand of dress shoes (ECCO) I’ve had for over five years, and I’ve only had to replace the shoe insert. Is this typical for Johnston Murphy?

my husband has flat feet and these fit so well on him. Comfortable for long days in the office and for someone that does a lot of walking in their line if business. well made, durable, and looks sharp

Roomy shoe. Might consider a half size smaller if you like a snug fit.
