Installed the double din version into my 2002 saturn sl1, fits like a glove. The only difficult things were the wiring harness and putting the dash back together afterwards. The wiring harness I bought came with three seperate red wires, and only one of them actually supplies power. Got the multimeter out, measured which one gave power, and ended up re-doing that one splice as I had guessed (wrong) which one actually gave power. Speaking of splices, unless your wiring harness comes with splices you’ll have to run to the hardware store for some butt splices or heat shrink wraps or something to splice the wires together. I used the blue butt splices and crimped them down and that worked really well.

The stereo itself is very good, clear sound and relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it. Sounds like a $250 stereo for way cheaper. Buttons are plenty big to use while driving and it looks very modern and classy without the massive distracting touch screen. My only wish is that the microphone for calling was placed somewhere in the head unit instead of being external and needing to be seperately installed. I just threw out the microphone and use my phone for calls, its much easier.

This JVC Car Stereo is a simple yet solid car radio upgrade. I installed it for my neighbor, and while it wasn’t exactly plug-and-play in his Hyundai, splicing about a dozen wires wasn’t too bad. Once installed, it worked great—fixing the intermittent issues with his old radio.

He was especially happy with the USB port, which was a must-have for him, and the sound quality is noticeably better than his default radio. All in all, a straightforward solution for anyone looking to replace a faulty car stereo.

Installed in a ’94 Camry because I wanted Bluetooth connectivity but felt a touchscreen would look out of place in an older car and didn’t need all of the Carplay etc functionality. I just connect my Pixel smartphone via BT and do everything on my phone, and it works great! High quality unit, all of the controls and button placement is very intuitive and natural, everything just works! Installation was easy. I have NOT experienced some of the Bluetooth connectivity issues others have mentioned – my phone connects very quickly and stays connected. I have no issues and am very happy with this purchase!

Unit has a lot of features and sounds good. Easy to install. Down side. Two important control buttons are very small and in awkward positions. Radio buttons have no lights. Programming immediately forces you to choose 2way or 3way speaker choice on initial start up. I can find no way to change this if you change speakers. Lastly no option to adjust sound for Frt/Rr, L/R balance, only vague general pre programed positioning. Not good.

This unit is worthless if you are hooking up to an external amp or crossover. It will not let you bypass the crossover or speaker configuration. You are forced to use the units crossover network even when selecting through for the frequency range. If you hook up to the rca outputs only it gives you 3 speaker configurations all going to the subwoofer or rear speakers if you have any. I might have been able to use the speaker line outputs with a line converter but it’s really not worth it. I started my return and am going to buy a different head unit.
I’ve been installing car audio for over 35 years. I’ve built multi-amp systems with crossovers and dsp-s. I’ve built subwoofer enclosures and 3 way component speaker setups from scratch. Believe me when i say this unit is junk if you hooking it up to external equipment. Sometimes thing are over engineered to the point where they become worthless. This is one of those items. A head unit can’t control everything which This one is trying to do. There’s a reason external amps, crossovers, dsps and eq’s are made.

Installed this in a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. So far I am very happy with the radio. The colors can be adjusted to make it appear like a factory radio. Sounds good and is on par with a factory radio with the factory speakers. It can go louder and I assume it would pair well with aftermarket speakers as well. Once paired with my phone it set the clock by it’s self which was nice. Another nice feature is that when you restart the car it picks back up where you left off streaming Spotify even if you shut the app off in your phone. So glad I bought this instead of a cheaper unit. It is definitely worth the little extra money. You can install this with a cheap adapter you will need to tap 2 wires in the console red will go to your switches cigarette lighter circuit, orange and white go to the lighting circuit positive. 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT without amplifier. The install kit I used was a Scosche ICCR6BN

Installed this in my ’06 Jeep TJ today. I’ll have to say, it sounds great and has lots of options for sound adjustments. I am so happy I picked this one. Installation was easy and it looks great. I did not know the face was removable but that’s a bonus at this point. I had a $30 Boss in my jeep before and it would connect to Bluetooth at full volume and blast us out. This one has volume limits you can set. There are many different EQ settings and it takes some time to get the sound you want. It’s worth the money if you’re worried about that. Not sure the wattage but it has plenty of power with the top off the jeep!! I would recommend.
