I have a 3lb Jersey wooly bunny and it’s just way too small. I use wood pellets in critter litter and I barely put any at the bottom of the tray before placing lid on and it just fills up so fast or some of the tiny rabbit poops won’t go down into the holes to reach the bottom tray. Literally would have to dump this twice a day. It may work for a super small Guinea pig but not your average size one. So maybe for a baby one.

This is a good litter box for guinea pigs. Well made sturdy plastic, comes apart well to clean. The dust pan and brush are exceptional. The only issue I find is it could have holes closer to the 3 corners where my pigs like to urinate and it won’t drain now.

I disliked that when I added bedding to soak up the urine, the bedding and urine both stuck to the litter box. Even with extremely hot water and excessive scrubbing I had to throw the pan away after a few months of use, as it was just too caked on there.

I had no idea it was possible for a guinea pig to be potty trained.
A guinea pig, and most rodents, will pick a corner of their habitat to urinate. So I just let our GP roam around for a few days in her hutch and then made note of where she preferred to pee. Than I put this potty trainer in that spot and I’ll be darned, she started using it immediately!
Funnily enough, I also bought a wooden trough for her hay and she decided that is where she wants to poop. So she pees in the toilet thing, and poops in the box.
As a result, I had to use something else for the hay, but it’s worth it.
The hutch stays completely clean. This is amazing.

I have a male guinea pig that always pees in the same spot. Poop is easy to clean, but the pee makes me have to change the bedding completely 3 times a week, even with cleaning it out daily. I got this and planned to put it in his normal peeing spot in hopes he’d atleast use it for that. My plan was to put already dirtied bedding on the pan so he could smell it and continue going there. The bedding falls right through the holes though, obviously. No matter what I tried I couldn’t get it to work. If your pets already trained, this would work. But it isn’t the easiest to actually train with. It does come apart super easily and is easy to clean. That was a huge plus.
