The grandkids, 11, 8 and 5 yrs. old love playing on these types of hand-held systems, and I can’t find these in department stores in town. This system’s screen measures 2 1/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches. We have several older systems of this size and the grandkids have never complained about the screen size. They always enjoy playing with them. This system has nice graphics; the older systems graphics aren’t as nice as this. What’s also really nice is they list in the instruction manual the names and information on each of the 139 games! In the “Casual” category there are 56 games, Puzzle category-35 games, Shooting category-28 games, and Sports category-20 games. The manual also contains contact information for customer service should there be any issues. There is a QR code to scan to access their electronic users manual and game guide as well. This does not come with a charging cable. The manual suggests using your phone charger and warns not to use a poor quality charger. This may seem rather cheap, but we’re actually overrun with charging cables at our house, as I think many households are. Posting pictures of the game system with its box, the “Fruit Shooter” game on the screen (which is in the Casual category), description of “Fruit Shooter” in the manual, and the charging port and headphone jack on side of system. I recommend this handheld system with its thoughtfully written users manual, customer service information, nice graphics, and whopping139 games.
Not all those who wander are lost –
This gamer will appeal to little kids, in the 4-8 age range, I’m guessing. The older kids, the tweens and the teens, they have phones, they can text, they can watch tick tock, they will not be interested in this handheld gamer. The problem with the little kids using this gamer is you’ll have to explain everything to them. The part of the direction manual that gives tips for each individual game on the gamer is printed in microscopically tiny print. And considering that the kid using this gamer is probably not a skilled reader yet, if they’re reading it all, makes things more complicated. But if you’re one of those weird patient parents, or maybe you only have one kid so you are used to hovering, that probably won’t bother you. The screen of this gamer seems a little bit small but there’s plenty of larger sized control buttons and such, kids like that. And the games are really brightly colored as you play them. My intention for this gamer is that it will be put away and will only be taken out to be used when going on car trips. Cuz if a kid can play with it anytime he wants he will get sick of it really quickly. So if you’re packing to go on a trip and you tell him to put the gamer in his tote to keep in the car next to him, he’ll probably complain that he doesn’t want it. And will expect you to buy him something new. So let’s keep that newness going by only taking it out when you’re on a car trip. Us parents have to be smarter than our kids, otherwise we’re in deep trouble. im jus sayin…
