Vanessa –
I have been playing classical guitar for a few years, and this guitar is literally the best classical-electric guitar I have ever played. Classical-electric guitars usually lack in sound and tone because of the pickup wiring and components inside the body, however, this guitar sounds great unplugged. It has a strong volume and color that I have never seen with any other classical-electric guitar. I’ve played various classical-electrics that ranged up $2,500, but they still don’t sound as good as this guitar. As for tone of the guitar plugged in, it is simply WOW, I can’t even explain how heavenly and warm it sounds.
As for the physical aspect of this guitar, in my opinion, it is the best looking guitar I have ever seen in my life. I have asked friends and family members about the guitar looks and they all rate it 10/10 and they believe that it looks like it costs thousands. I really love the unique basket-weave rosette design, it gives a unique flare to the guitar, yet it still retains its traditional look. If I were to change how the guitar looks, I would not change a thing.
What I also love about this guitar is that it is extremely easy to play. The shorter scale length and nut width, radiused fingerboard, and low action also contributes to the playability of the guitar significantly. There were pieces that I struggled with on my old classical guitar, however with this guitar, it makes it much easier to play those barres or notes you can barely reach.
I really don’t know why this guitar is only worth $800, it should be worth twice as much. Even some classical-electric guitars that are worth in the $1000-$2500 range aren’t nearly as good as this guitar. The craftsmanship of this guitar simply shines through and if I ever buy another classical guitar, it will certainly be from Kremona.

Because I’m familiar with the outstanding quality of Kremona’s classical guitars, I expected more of this acoustic-electric. Compared to the gorgeous tone of their classical models, I found this one lacking and ended up returning it. The finish was imperfect, and the tone of the guitar was not the best either plugged in or unplugged. I think the laminated sides make a difference. I have a Taylor NS2ce, which ends up being my go to guitar for performing, even though it has laminated back and sides, but when I played an all solid classical, I realized I want to skip the electronics on my next Kremona. For pure beauty of tone, the all solid, handmade ones are outstanding at a reasonable price.

I have played jazz on steel stringed guitars (Gibson, Fender) over 50 years. On Sofia (Nylon strings) the sounds are warm and soft inviting more moody pieces, Autumn in New York, April in Paris, Have you .met Miss Jones to name my favorites. The neck is a little broader than Jazz guitars I mentioned which requires a slight adjustment .You can get good percussive sounds from several areas on the body. Overall I really like the build and finish of this beautiful guitar. I am going to add a pick guard to protect the finish.

I just purchased this guitar from Amazon and I couldn’t be happier with it. I already own 2 Kremona Fiesta models, 1 spruce and 1 cedar; both great guitars. But I wanted an electric classical guitar that I could gig with, something with a small enough fingerboard to play jazz chords, and at the same time, big enough to play classical pieces for weddings etc.
This guitar fits the bill perfectly! Easy to play, sounds great, and very reasonably priced. I play everything from Ave Maria and Moonlight Sonata to Satin Doll or anything else I desire. Thanks Kremona!

The media could not be loaded.
The guitar has a rattling noise on the lower bridge when playing the 6th string, suggesting something may be loose inside. Additionally, strings 4 and 5 sound terrible.

Took me a solid two months to get used to the shorter scale and 48 mm nut. The fretting felt cramped and tight, and I almost sent it back. I’m so very glad I didn’t. It now feels so natural in my hands that I’m doing things with rhythm and finger picking that I never thought possible. The sound was a little thin at first, but it’s now opening up and sounding much fuller. Also sounds great with an accoustic amp. I couldn’t be happier – this is now my everyday go to guitar. Truly can’t put it down. And it’s truly beautiful. The detailing and binding is extraordinary- and the tuners are a cut above. I should add, the setup was absolutely perfect right out the box. I’m now a Kremona fan for life.
